Why? They never produced an RNS down the slope.
As in normal life & we all know the sort, I have many colleagues the same...... too many people in this world looking for problems & not solutions.
I think we are so far ahead than we think we are. He says their key goal is to get fully automated in the next 6-12 months. That should be be the Finnish machine we took delivery of in October/November on top of the two Reel to Reel machines Omega posted on twitter. They are literally like money printing machines in the current climate. If Colin is not thinking of expansion he will really need to think hard what he will do with all that income the investment in machinery will produce. Share buy back or Divvys.
Spoke a lot of sense did our Ken.
Same bandwagon?

Lord Bethal was giving an update to the Lords Grand Committee last week. The regulatory authority to approve private lab testing has been allocated to UKAS. I think this is testing on people who have entered the country & want to shave a few days off quarantine by paying.
For balance, this was their response to the student BMJ article.....

Interesting discussion on regulatory changes to private testing. Maybe another avenue for our ELISA capacity?
"We will also continue to work closely with Public Health Wales, Life Sciences Hub Wales and the private sector to look at all options for testing for antibodies and to scan the market for new tests."
Might put an order in for the Mologic ones too!

"The finger prick antibody test (lateral flow test) is currently being verified in Wales to make sure it performs well. It is anticipated that this work will be completed shortly. There is also work ongoing to decide if this type of test could be suitable for use at home. We will provide more detail on the development of this type of test as work progresses."
Jally speaks a lot of sense. MM games, the spread is too wide, they want your shares, is what this board is turning into, it's embarrassing. I've done my research, now we are in production stage there is nothing left to research (apart from the TB test). Sit back, be patient & let the machines churn out the profit they are undoubtedly doing. We are big boys & girls, we don't need updates every day to stroke any doubts we have. CK is not gonna spunk his own cash at 53 for nothing. All the RTC are quiet on their social media channels. If it's too much, may I suggest joining a fund & let someone else do the hard work on research.
"We estimate that Omega is receiving c.£1.60 per test from the UK-RTC for the supply of a foil-wrapped lateral flow device".
Beautiful.
Brilliant. Thorough, professional with an adaptable strategy for capacity to be fully utilized. Very confident in my position throughout & it's lovely to have it rubber stamped today. Time for a Baileys to celebrate.
Nice one Handome1. Makes sense for all the radio silence. The government will want to fanfare exclusively anything they have put together themselves. Meanwhile, whilst investors get nervous or bored & move on, CK & the team are quietly expanding & churning out these tests by the bucket load. A series of unfortunate events bring us to where we are but at these prices it's not only CK & the team that are stockpiling.
This is a great price to get in here. At first for a few trades then to establish a core holding.
Best Wishes.
So, if they did merge. In Layman's terms, is it good, bad or indifferent for an existing Omega holder, or are there both positives & negatives? Never been involved in anything like that.
X20 lol
Exactly Symbo1. The infrastructure is there, the financials are there, the brains are there. Just a case of sitting back, being patient & proud of being invested in a company that is on the front line in the fight against this horrid virus.
My company is private & we keep getting told the importance of social media & marketing. To be fair we do try to do it as regularly as we can. The time when we don't do it it when we are absolutely stacked out with orders & are not looking for anymore work. I'm not saying Omega are doing the same but if I was looking to expand & all that entails, I couldn't give a monkeys toss about comms to shareholders, especially when we have had two back to back presentations clearly setting out future plans. When the dust settles, I'm sure it's something they will work on. In the meantime, relax & trust your research.
Spot on JAdam. The lower the SP the easier it is to trade on volume. Take a look at those penny oil shares. New drill site found etc. 20%up, bang, job done. At some point though here, share supply will dry up, orders will be fulfilled & money will be rolling in. The SP will rise, II's will enter on a guaranteed return & Johnny day trader will find a new mining opportunity in the far corners of Australia.
