RBC Capital reiterated their outperform rating on shares of Aberdeen Asset Management plc (LON:ADN) in a research report released on Wednesday morning, AnalystRatings.Net reports.

Aberdeen said approval by the Financial Conduct Authority meant the deal would likely be completed on March 31. Aberdeen struck a deal in November to buy Scottish Widows for about 660 million pounds ($1.10 billion), creating Europe's No. 1 listed stand-alone fund manager. I'm not sure the source, but if you go to google finance, once you are in dixons page, click on the news items on the right hand side, ther are so many buy reitarations, they are being updated all the time. But on the whole, they all seem to be buy, which is good, ranging from 48p-65p, depending on when you look and how far back you go.

Yes, you are probably right, someone who bought in big in the morning, sold the lot, but his is a good thing in someways becuase they sometimes buy back straight away or others buy at the good price, either way the share price is on the up for the last 2/3 days, so don't mind how it gets there.

I agree, I think now that the big sell off has died down, the market is back on the up, which will help to put Dixons back up to where it should be.

Looks like we are back on the way up, glad I topped up yesterday. Although there are lots of ratings of 48p-52p, does anyone think we will break the 53p mark this year. I think we will be back at 48p within a week.

£4.53 and still rising

Looking at the charts it looks like we are back on the up, probably towards £4.80-£4.90 within a short time. Plus they have their Interim Management Statement on 16 January which is expected to be good, so should add a further 5-10%
