Evening All
Managed to get some this morning after doing some research over the last few days . Glad I didn’t delay any longer. I’m new to investing ( a few months now ) and have had a good baptism via ufo over the last month or so ! This board seems much nicer ! I’m guessing that could change though if/ when exposure increases.
Good luck all
Definitely agree Paulcon
With the right timing and results the size of the market is mind boggling

Re the scanner I agree I think £100 would not be an issue For a lot of people. I was merely speculating that at the outset the cost per unit may be more ,once established and recognized production could be scaled up and the cost per unit would reduce
I’ve been thinking the same thing re media exposure, But I suppose the real race is in getting the right test results. If you get there first I expect media exposure won’t be a problem
Yeah I agree , local access points rather than home use initially. But the potential is definitely there for home use further down the line
I think the Boots test is an attempt to cash in while there are few alternatives . With the D/V offering the price point of the “dvd” reader will determine if it’s for individual or commercial use - at least at the outset. Obviously the cost per unit can greatly reduce over time if it takes off. Not seen anything better as yet
........ and it’s Deepverge by a nose .....
No nasty nasal swabs though !
All the best x2

No mention of any sort of digital health pass though
You lot are literally talking sh#te on here today
Most of us spend our time checking the SP and of course it’s hard not to. I think at the stage that UFO is at its difficult to accurately correlate the businesd I’m a relatively new investor on Aim but it seems to be this turbulence is an inevitapart of the big business at this stage, particularly
That’s some impressive research right there BumbleHum. Wouldn’t want you looking at my tax return! I’m with you in that I’ve yet to see a more practical, scalable , commercially viable ,environmentally friendly end to end solution for rapid testing . I have to say I was amazed by the negativity at the launch .I realize this has been extensively covered and all I would add is that maybe live broadcasts are a bit risky . Moving on ...,I think the achievements so far have been amazing and I’d imagine the CEO Feels a little under appreciated . One thing I do find perplexing is the lack of media attention it has received but I’m confident all the right people will be aware of it
BumbleHum . Always nice to read your thoughtful and well reasoned posts. We all have to play the interpretation game to a degree and naturally , as shareholders, lean towards the positive side ( most of us that is ).
What is obvious is that this is an extremely exiting period for Deepverge and it’s associated partners. So much going on it’s hard to keep up. I think the smoke will start clearing after the 3rd November and obviously pending positive news from the much anticipated test results in Aberdeen we can look forward to a flurry of positive RNS announcements.
Modern water RNS from Dec 2008 https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/MWG/investment-in-aguacure-fysmjmaih0yu5v6.html
It's going back a bit so not sure of it's relevance
"The environmental benefits of the technology developed by AguaCure, and based at Bangor University, were a key attraction of this investment for Modern Water, which aims to commercialise energy-efficient water and wastewater treatment methods offering significant capital and operating cost savings."
