My wife's old boss lost £370k through Czech conmen, along with the house and cakeshop he had rented out to Czechs ( Non payment of rent.) He then lost credit rating, so borrowed off an Indian 'Shylock' who charged 25% interest or forfeit his business. He his now having to work full time at 74.

Funnily enough I was going to make that analogy with religion and governments in my earlier post. Our current regime are telli g us "That we are going to have a better future." After the imminent tough times of course and they have retired to their taxpayer funded second homes.

Antony, I agree with alot of your list. I have been visiting ICU in Bristol for the past week and there are alot of non Brits doing a wonderful job. But for every one of those there are probably at least ten just milking the system.
