Is it just possible that AFC and Denora are going to pull something mins- (and sp-) blowing out of the water (literally) in the near future?

It would be if the figures were even remotely accurate. The institutional investors are largely PIs holding through nominee accounts.

I'm an LTH of ten years standing. My view is that AFC will either disappear or fly. If the former I lose my money. If we get to 50p that will mean a decent return on my investment. Problem is that I simply have no idea which way it will go or how long it will take. I won't be buying any more, but I won't be selling until that becomes clear.

....either that or we should have a completely new executive team and chairman. And get rid of the silent non execs whilst they are at it.

Anyone heard any news re Rennocks promise to either meet PIs or state why he won't? He has until October to land that one.

Just going back to basics and a couple of questions I'm not sure I know the answers to.

Is there a place within the electricity generation market for fuel cells? Regardless of type, be they PEM, solid oxide, AFC or whatever?

If the answer is yes then why not our fuel cells which can run on less pure hydrogen and ammonia. Or perhaps methane with the right pre treatment.

If true notes that's a conversation AFC should be having right there. Must be loads of readily available ammonia to power an AFC nearby.

I thought it was illegal to use red diesel to power vehicles. Presumably their argument is that it is not directly powering them.
Is this power laundering?

Has anyone been able to get any further information about how long we might have to watch for as the suggestion was that something is imminent? I've been watching for 10 years!!

Jggb123, did TUVA give you any timescales on which to base your optimism? I suspect this was a large sell and it doesn't suggest any action any time soon.

One wonders if there might be an opportunity for AFC to step in with their alternative technology and reassure the Koreans that their hydrogen based desires can remain intact.
Time to brush off some old MOUs?

Decent volume today (nearly 2m so far) and bid above 4p. Wonder if there is anything substantive driving that?

The only argument for AFCs in EV charging is to remove strain on the grid....there is no other argument for siting a fuel cell at the point of need for electricity. Hence the need for AFC to develop a working relationship with some of these big players. I am worried that the need for off grid power generation and supply is not yet adequately accepted.

That's unfair. Bumble and I might have our differences at times but he is always honourable and fair.
