Happy……….it was good to see the action in WG. today, but as my avg is around £5 I doubt I will ever get my full investment back. As you say, hopefully my travel stocks will reap rewards this year IAG being the largest holding by far.

Well I said yesterday this would finish up 4% today and we would see £2 by the end of the month. My first prediction came to fruition so lets wait and see what the next few days bring. BA recruiting staff like crazy at the moment and they aren’t doing that because they are standing still.

Maybe…….what are you smoking today? I expect to see IAG hit £2 by the end of the month. As I said earlier, not a stock to be shorting right now.

Stile…..come on dear chap, lets see some positive vibes. IAG will smash it tomorrow and will see them back above £2 by the end of the month.

They will need to double that offer to make me smileI….. hold £107K at an average of £5 :-(

Buglet……..like everything today, and especially travel stocks, they are just having a slight retrace. When the deal goes through this will kick on and that news will drop any day.

Very simple……you have to be in to win. I expect to see lots of buying in tomorrow in preparation for great results on Friday. Whatever your thoughts IAG is a great long time hold and recovery share. I expect to see us up 4% on Thursday prior to results.

Interesting to hear thoughts on buying share pre or post consolidation this coming week. I am guessing it will make little difference price wise. Interesting to hear your thoughts.

Spottie………..no use posting a link to these thieving newspapers as all they want you to do is buy a subscription and bombard you with adverts. Can you not cut and paste the bare bones of the content?

As the saying goes, let the trend be your friend. Looking at some great news being announced next week. Last chance to buy below £2. Onwards and upwards. Sale of insurance for top end of £90M, reducing debt and travel industry booming. What is not to like.

Boonboon, the reason I have gone with Rivian is because they make trucks and not cars. They have recently done a deal with Mercedes to produce trucks for them and also to supply the Amazon fleet. Those were the deciding factors for me.

Terrym……….as you say, pay your money and make your choice. I just think RIVN sits nicely with my SEE holding as far as tech goes. Having bought last month at $16 and now sitting at $21 I am happy with the way it is moving. As I said earlier I expect both SEE and RIVN to be multiples of the present price within the next couple of years.

Most of us are here for the new tech opportunities that will soon hit the motor industry. Love them ir hate them the EV will be here to stay. Based on that I have started buying Rivian RIVN shares which at the moment seem incredibly cheap. You need to register to trade US shares but longer term I really feel like SEE these will multibag. Anyone else buying them right now?

Put me down for 185p. IAG now one of my major investments, I will trade a few in and out but my main holding will be left for the longer term. I see this doubling from these levels in the longer term and a return to a divi by 2024.
