I took my rights issue shares but in retrospect now should have sold my rights on the first day when I could have got over 100p for them then sat and waited for the 24th. I am pretty sure when those rights of 488 hit the market on the 24th we may see the share price drop to near that value……it happened here before on the previous RI and by the way the share price is moving we may see it again. If you want stock on the cheap wait till after the 24th. Longer term this is a no brainier and no reason why we cannit double our miney but in the meantime fasten your belts as there is certainly turbulence ahead

Once again the LTH are shafted as not allowed to participate in this deal. On the brightside it seemed to be well over subscribed so there are a lot if folk that realise the full potential of TEK. It has been a long frustrating haul fir me, especially when I was 200% up and never sold because I am sure one day we will be multiples of that 200%. Have the faith folk….on paper still a no brainer.

Being a LTH and holding over £100K at near double the offer price I feel once again as a PI I have been shafted. I was happy to sit on my investments to hopefully one day see them recover. Sadly once again it looks like I will take a huge hit. I feel fir the LTH that have been let down by the BoD whom I am sure will line their own pockets with gold.

Looks like the market likes what they see with Lucyd. Could double bag very quickly. I think 2023 is going to be the year fir us long suffering TEK share holders.

Good to see the finance director accumulating more shares. I am sure he is no fool and not intent on chucking money away. Something is brewing and one gets the feeling good news is not too far away. Hopefully our patience will be rewarded.

Chester…….to be fair Newbee did say it was not my fault and admitted it was himself that did hit the sell button. I wish now I wasn’t so keen at 43p I had fallen in love with this share till they stopped the divi and the subsequent price crash. It just goes to show if you stick around long enough things indeed will get better. A costly mistake for myelf.

Newbee123…………Sorry if my past negativity caused you to sell. At the time I was pretty negative about it, especially after selling my £250K holding at 43p and making a £179k loss!! I got fed up with the poor performance and there were so many other bargains out there that were moving north so much quicker…….in retrospect no one could see what lay ahead with Putins actions causing a huge increase in the price of gas. If I had stuck with CNA I would be back in profit very soon…….such is life, not only that the shares I moved into and PFC was one of those too have been absolute dogs! As someone said earlier, never listen to any crap talked on a BB. Stick by your own convictions and never sell too early. Easier said than done I know.

Stille……..indeed the crew moral is good. Hopefully folk will look back next year and wonder what all the panic was about.

I looked at selling my Rights via Halifax sharedealing on the first day of issue and was offered 115p. I decided not to bother as you always think keeping them and buying the new shares is a good deal………very often it is not.
Annoying I know, but at the end of the day I am sure longer term we will do OK. I am now committed to buying over 1100 new shares.

IParsnip……..I will try and make you feel better. 2 years ago I sold my very large holding in CNA for 43p a share losing £179K I reinvested the £70K into travel stocks only to lose even more. Today CNA is £1.10 a share and continues to rise. If I had been patient I would have recovered my losses and probably made a decent profit. Like you it seems everythIng I buy is a disaster. I have committed to buy my TUI rights issue shares as I am sure in a couple of years time It will prove to be a good move………..Hard to believe it right now though.

I see Direct line SP has been trashed of late too as they have struggled to with higher claims. It seems the whole of the insurance business has been suffering the same fate.
Direct line today has a broker buy recommendation……maybe the tide is turning?

Happyinvestor………A bit if a selfish statement I think!. it may be a fair price for you trying to make a quick buck but sadly not for us long term investors that will all be shafted if it is sold for this crazy cheap price.

I hold £100K shares at an average just below £5 so if this gies through I will say cheerio to over £50K……No thanks.

At this rate the SP will be cheaper than the RI price of 487. !!!!

Donal………you cannot compare Saga with Tui as Saga getting trashed due poor performance of its insurance side.
