BA must be picking up a bit of business from Emirates. I have just checked if you were planning to fly to Sydney from London with Emirates you will nit be going. BA are still operating that route via Singapore. Just check fir this week, £2500 single in economy.

Just…….I would say yes. I expect IAG to open 10% down and BP. 10% up.

A great time for some to offload BP and buy IAG I would say.

What I would say is that nothing has really changed from the great trading update on Friday…..Once the dust settles it will be onwards and upwards for IAG. All this has done is to give folk a great opportunity to buy at a bargain price.

Even better if you hold BP as first thing Monday you could sell on the nice rise and buy IAG on the inevitable fall.

Teddy……From what I see on marine traffic the majority of traffic is not affected and transiting the strait without any issue.

A no brainer on Monday……sell BP probably up 15% and buy IAG probably down 15%

Sadly I did that last Friday so those profits will be losses for me. 🥲

Looks like I made a big mistake selling out of BP on Friday and buying IAG on the fall 😱😱😱😱

clench…….something is definitely not quite adding up. the rumours that they failed to attract the investment required to ipo are now starting to add up. if that was the case we should be kept in the picture via rns from tek. if that is not the reason then tek should be updating us on the reason.

the fact that emails are getting bounced on the guident investor relations site are rather concerning too.

funny how wozzer has gone quiet too, he probably realises that he has been ******* into the wind for the last month or so.

Viren…..remember you will only make a loss if you sell at a loss. At the moment a paper loss can be recovered.

I remember selling CNA at 40p making a loss of £169K 😱 If I had stuck with it I would have been back nicely in profit as last week the SP was 190p.

Sometimes you just need to be patient.

I bought £20k here on Friday as I was convinced Trump would step back from action…….oh well, looks like I am here for the long haul now.

Today just proves what a casino the stock market really is. If IAG had come out with a poor trading update we would probably have ended the day 7% up.

I am guessing it was a case of sell on news today.

On the brightside we now know what the future holds so anyone buying today has probably done ok in the longer term.

I have just joined the party here. It looks pretty cheap with a great trading update like we have seen today. 🙏

I predicted this morning before we opened that with that great trading update we would probably end down 5%.

Looks like I will need to buy some more. It has to be in bargain territory now. 🙏
