The BOD's can only recommend a dividend, they need shareholder approval first. Therefore dividends can not be backdated.

Agreed highly unlikely a dividend would be back dated, more likely at the time of the sale announcement.

More probably the estate of the late Mr Fitzgerald, realising some cash to pay the pending Inheritance Tax.

If there is no sale, then the BOD's would have worked for nothing these last 20 plus years, will the BOD's actually allow that to happen, of course not. Patience although being tested, is our friend not our enemy.

They may have dropped in the short term, but the bigger picture is, what EUA have in the ground is wanted by the world now, and what is wanted next year and many many years beyond.
