Piltick - "Pardon my ignorance, but does this amendment to the planning application have to go before a meeting of the planning committee, or can it be passed by a planning official?"
No such an application can be dealt with by way of Delegated Powers i.e. the case officer can determine the application in conjunction with the manager of the planning service. That said, any application can be called in for determination at planning committee by Council Members. That obviously depends of level of interest in the application and how controversial the original application was. Hope that helps
Section 73 applications are a standard mechanism for adjusting a development proposal after planning permission has been obtained. They are very common, particularly with large or complex developments.
Planning permission is usually sought at outline design stage in order to work to tight programmes. Naturally as detailed design of a scheme evolves some aspects need to be amended. A section 73 application is a relatively straightforward process for making changes to a scheme. Nothing for anyone to worry about at all. In fact it's good to hear that they are seeking to submit such as lots of unscrupulous developers would just change the scheme without engaging with the council only to be more often than not caught out further down the line.

I use Halifax for trading and i have had the following reply when asking about the W8-BEN form...
Unfortunately because itit'a uk stock and trades on the LSE, even though the US pay the dividend, it's not affected by the W8-BEN form. The W8-BEN form only works for stock that trade as overseas and not ones like this that are uk in terms of listing. So the W8-BEN form works for the likes of Apple and Facebook but not DEC.
I hope that clears things up for everyone
Cheers

Sorry im late to catch up... could someone provide me a link to watch the court case please
After watching tw and psn for a while now, I'm in with tw.
I see a bright future ahead along with hopefully a special div next year. Better than having money in a bank that's for sure!
My focus is on construction and energy (not just conventional oil/gas) and i see these being key in the forthcoming years.
Glad to be in on tw!

The problem with shares such as Avacta is that any lack of momentum in good news sees drifting share prices to the point where any positive rns brings the price back up to where it was on the last piece of good news! I was hoping we would have some immediate momentum following the CE registration but seemingly not. Still the future's bright
There we go. What a poor investment this has been. Probably low price range due to exploration rather than production but it's certainly dampened everyones overly optimistic predictions from £3-5 spouted a year or so ago to £1.50-2 in the last fee days. Little do we all know.
Mugged off!
