Hi Whirlaw. Great reply. Don't get me wrong I've been here since day 1 having previously been a shareholder of Faroe Petroleum. I want success here and i do think it will come albeit probably 10 years longer than I'd initially hoped upon my first investment.
I'm sure production was sold as key to the strategy in many forms not just an unfortunate video recording (i can't face looking back through early RNSs/presentations). That's why i originally invested anyway.
I get all the difficulties the BOD have faced but in between the very low and very high oil prices there was a period of stability when other successful companies executed their deals Kistos very much a case in point.
Perhaps I am wrong but i think, at the time of discovery, Kveikje was considered a find on the small site and that it may only stack up with development plans around it. Let's hope any monitisation goes well and gives us more than a few pence on the sp.
I'm bitterly disappointed in my investment here and i have averaged down as we were dropping like a stone but you can only do that for so long. In my mind with my investments in lbe, I've written this off. Then I'll feel good if it comes to life and they start delivering such that sp is £1+
Cheers
Ash
Whirlaw, i certainly don't understand the mechanics behind insititutions and their decision making but surely, if we are expecting material news by end of March, they'd be crazy selling now! You'd like to think there's a human making the ultimate decision on such selling.
I know, it already seems like my prediction of sp bottom has failed miserably.
It seems like Blackrock cannot see any short term impetus.
Failure of original company strategy i.e. production continues to haunt us imo
Dare i say it but i think we might have now hit rock bottom with regards share price! And for once i am looking forward to the presentation next Tuesday, it should contain a little more info than the usual waffle with monitisation and Malaysia in mind.
Onwards and upwards...
