The AIM is already compromised by this activity carried out by shorters. I just don't understand why those that spread negative propaganda over the internet (regardless of whether it is later proven to be true or false) are legally allowed to do so in the UK. Whatever happened to a company or individual being treated as innocent until proven guilty? This kind of unscrupulous activity over the internet treats companies as guilty until proven innocent!!! By the time they are proven to be innocent, the damage has already been done. More needs to be done by the law in this country to protect private investors from this racket that has now been going on for years.

I am tired of posters like below coming on here telling us they are investing long but then telling us the shorters are right. You really must think we are all stupid. This board has clearly been hijacked by shorters on the back of this new report and so I will leave it to Costis and the management of Globo to address which I am sure they will in time.

I don't really object to anyone who chooses to short. However, I do strongly object to the way some people choose to short by using other colleagues and the internet to pump out negative propaganda to help their collective cause. This is where the law needs to be tightened up in this country.

Only a shorter would defend the actions of another shorter.

Because they can and Globo is an easy target because it has already been bullied by shorters for over two years now. The shorters are simply trying to capitalise on the market momentum of shorts holding the price down from where it should really be. No real surprise to see a very famous shorter's name at the top of the report! If I was Costis, I would be using the suspension time to take advice from the best lawyers he can afford to explore every angle of how these shorting rings can be stopped once and for all.

I have not yet read the full report but I have no doubt that this report is written by shorters for shorters, in other words, I doubt any of the suggestions of facts stated in it have any truth or can be proved. How else would Tom Winnifrith know about it and brag about its issue a couple of days ago. Sadly, we live in an era where the internet gives these parasites oxygen to spread their nonsense for personal gain. I personally think it would be a huge step forward to creating a level playing field if the authorities could in some way use trolling laws to close these people and shorting rings down.

There is clearly no coincidence here. TW publishes a bearcast and as if by magic, the share price plummets yet again. This is not the first time where this guy seems to magically predict a drop. It really is like the wild west here where anything goes. The frustrating thing for private investors like myself here is the lack of transparency over share trading activity. Buys and sells are poorly if not often wrongly presented and often after the markets have closed making it impossible to determine what is going on behind the scenes. At what point do regulators say enough is enough by stepping in to investigate the causes behind such volatile share movements in the absence of any new information from the company itself? They surely cannot be completely blind and clueless to everything that is going on here, can they? Do they even care?

The Directors need to show willing and buy shares now to break us out of this boring vicious circle of manipulation.

A significant share purchase by some if not all of the Directors will be the game changer here in my view. I am not sure if the Directors are still restricted from buying by any closed period but when they do buy, it will well and truely cut the rope on all the parasites who are still trying to short this company regardless of any results announcement. The Directors may have been advised to hold back buying further shares for as long as possible whilst the shorters stick around playing their games. In this way, the Directors can carry on building the company up to such an extent that when they do finally buy, the share price correction is more dramatic such that hedge funds like Ennismore get left high and dry overnight as financial punishment for overstaying their welcome.

It is therefore market manipulation that moves markets, not chart forecasts.

Fact

Chart forecasts are about as accurate as the weather forecast was presented by Michael Fish over the storm in October 1987. The only way chart forecasts work is if the bigger players hang their hat on them and subconscious human behaviour kicks in to manipulate markets to perform the chart's prediction. There is no magic here and history is no accurate prediction of the future without human intervention.

He may not have had a position at the time he wrote his letter (if indeed he even did write it) but I am sure he had good intentions of taking out a position shortly after. Why on earth would Paul Scott or anyone for that matter go to all the trouble to analyse the accounts and write a long letter with a negative slant to the Company without a personal motive? The same goes for anyone who posts on here who also claims to have no position either way. From my experience, those that claim to have no position always seem to post comments that bias towards the critical side but never on the positive side.

Either that or it was Paul Scott hoping that readers will fall for his scare mongering. Correct me if I am wrong but this Paul Scott guy is a more well known bear raider isn't he? Any letter he writes to the Directors of Globo therefore is nothing but an attempt to de-ramp the price for his own benefit. One thing all more "public" shorters seem to have in common is that they all seem to be complete gamblers and very good at patting themselves on the back for supposedly uncovering fictional scandals. I am just surprised the Directors bothered to respond to his letter as I am sure they have got much bigger investments to focus on that all that cash is going to be used on no doubt very soon.

It would appear that their investing strategy is to fight fire with fire. They don't know anything more about Globo than what we all do now and yet they just can't seem to accept defeat when it hits them in the face. Personally, I hope they carry on increasing their short because it will only end in tears for them eventually (as they clearly have no idea about when they should close their short) and it will help to give us all more opportunities to buy at undervalued prices as and when we each have the funds to do it. Sorry guys and gals that are in to shorting here and like to preach to the rest of us about why they short but I am in no rush to sell and won't be for some time yet to come.

Hmmmm, I reckon Ennismore might be looking down the barrel of a free cashflow problem. What do you think Jolly....you've gone a bit quiet?

Does anyone know who is pulling the strings behind the curtain that we all know as just Ennismore? They have been around for nearly two years shorting Globo and yet very little is known about who they are. I would not be surprised if that Jolly character who posts regularly on here is one of them.

Funny how on days when this share price falls significantly, every shorter and their dog comes out of the woodwork to aggressively help put the boot in to Globo on this BB. The share price has moved very little this week and unsurprisingly, I could count the number of posts made each day on one hand. You know who you are.

Hi Pharmer. My post was not aimed at you but at Jolly for what he or she wrote at 10.25am yesterday. To accuse others of posting incessant one sided and paranoid nonsense is somewhat hypocritical in my view when all Jolly ever does on here is continually deramp Globo with the same one liners about FCF and why the management of Globo have no clue what they are doing.

You really do love blowing your own trumpet on here. It is always the same old boringly repetitive negative points you always post on here which to be quite frank, are all just your view and unsubstantiated so I would hardly describe anything you post on here as anything new or objective.
