RE: Interim results14 Jan 2026 12:38
I'm sure that 1up was talking about the SP and not the dividend £1.20 is far too low a call.
With regards to the interim results I'm not expecting a crowd pleaser unless the production figures are on par with Q1 as the guidance was unchanged;
"Following an impressive quarter, guidance for FY2026 remains unchanged at 83,000 to 86,000 4E PGM ounces with chromite concentrate target of 100,000 to 130,000 tons." but we all know that he is keeping something in the tank to increase the guidance in the next report.
31,0000oz in Q1 included some 'bought in' material with higher yields but also with higher costs so the margin in Q1 was diluted because of this and higher taxes. I expect Q2 to show a much lower AISC and if they hit 22,000 oz with the basket price of $2300 it will be on par but if they keep up the production levels of Q1 it will blow all estimates.
Then taking into account todays basket prices 4E $3150 and 6E $3000 - The 6E basket price has jumped so imagine 31,000 oz at $3000 ?????
Maybe then a 12p divi but an SP nearer £2
The start up production of Chromite in Q1 appears to be 4,500 tons however we are not sure when they actually started production as training was taking in that period too so difficult to judge how that's going but the guidance is unchanged at 100,000-130,000 tons so all is looking good for production in Q2 of 30,000 tons bearing in mind there are only 3 quarters left to achieve the guidance.
