He has more than 33 years of experience in political and commercial negotiations in West Africa ....... and boy will they need him judging by the tax treatment of SHG and PDL ........ SHG are owed $30m and now have a tax investigation they also have to list 49% of one of their mines on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. PTD are owed $25m and a consignment of Diamonds has been confiscated........ Barrick (Acacia) got the same treatment and eventually had to give the Tanzanian Govt a share in their mines as well as paying a $500m fine.
The government must now have at least a 16% equity in all mining operations, and now has the power to enforce new regulations which require mining companies to list 30% of their equity on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange by August 2017 .

President Magufuli claims that these reforms will increase transparency in the mining and energy sectors, and increase the country’s fair share of revenues. However, most companies disagree, and have accused the government of unfairly extorting unprofitable amounts of money from them .

Absolute rubbish £11m? its going to be well over! ...... they've already hit almost £6m in 4 months!!! The 3 months of April-June was also the period with all the problems of shipping, shutdowns, raw material supply shortages, factory closures, export bans etc and they achieved £3.4m and had £2m more in orders in hand.

SEAWEED? SEA WEED .... why can't anyone SEA PROFIT! This company have doubled sales, they have told you they are going to smash their own expectations, they have orders in the bag during the 1st Quarter of £3.4m and an additional £2m+ on the books that equates to last years sales already . If you look forwards, without any increase thats £12m+ turnover and if you look at the fact that they had supply problems during the 1st Quarter I hate to guess what orders they can supply now that supply chains have eased. Now they have said the supply chain is back on track they can vacuum up all of that business ..... some of that business is still selling out online which goes to show the market is bigger than supply. Prices will hold up and contracts will be made to secure ongoing business. They have partnerships that are ready to go to market, Tristel, SC Johnson, Advanced Hygienics and Intergrated Resources International and goodness knows who in the pipeline. Covid has made everyone aware of the the future risks to their business but has anyone look at the future possibilities to a business of this type.
As a forward thinking multinational CEO I am making plans to integrate the threat of a VIRUS into my company plans and I'm going for prevention.
Cleaning schedules in food factories has been a major part of alleviating business risks for decades and now it isn't going to be just food factories that have a nightly clean down , its going to be everyone, part of every daily end routines. The fashion retailer is working on setting up its own factory. It “will have the latest capital equipment and promote the highest standards of health and safety throughout the facility”.

Yes it almost covers everything except the fact that outlets dropped them on the unfounded accusations of a newspaper because they are only into “fair trade goods from China” and institutional investors that jumped on the “oh invest with us we are as clean as Warren Buffett” we won’t spoil our reputation... how is Wagon Train these days? I bet they are waiting to jump back in .... wagons roll, head em up, roll them on, buy em up ...thick hide.

I also know that NEXT we’re not interested in the small margins they get from selling Brand names and were reviewing their stategy in light of the success of Boohoo making and selling their own clothes online. NEXT thought they could buck the trend by buying more store space and selling everything to everyone.... big shock when BOOHOO showed them how wrong that was and that other outlet Primark that refused to sell online? ... Keep calm and carry on Boohoo ... no masks required here. Ted Baker take note you left Debenhams for NEXT but maybe you got that wrong too.

I liked this bit a lot.... For example, PrettyLittleThing’s annual sales have rocketed from just £55 million when Boohoo bought it to over £500 million in the most recent financial year. It recently purchased the remaining 34% of PrettyLittleThing it didn’t already own, which it said was ‘expected to be significantly earnings enhancing on a fully diluted basis with immediate effect’.

Nothing wrong Found in anything to do with Boohoo... the Leicester factories were simply repacking garments made overseas. Nothing to see here move up!
