Sudden increase in LGEN and PHNX today. Is this Sunaks news about helping with household energy bills.
10% up now. £18.32 on T212. Will there be some pump and dump soon or is this institutions getting in for an inflationary beating divi long term hold. Forecasts are 1850 up to over 20 quid with strong buys.
If the markets dont like TW today, when will they like it. Cheap share, reasonable divi and a good order book.
I was midly critised for selling out a week or so ago at 97p but happy to be back in at 88.5p.
Couldnt resist a few more at 258.7. I could regret it next week of course.
Love this company but i am out today for a miniscule profit. Fed up of a great company being manipulated and shorted everytime after a SP increase. I will put my money into a decent divi paying company or my Chase saver, at least that gives me 1.5%.
Does anyone here take a smaller profit rather than the divi and then buy back in to lower their average. My average is 273. I have 48 hours to decide.
Was really expecting a move back above 650 today. Confused as to why not given its one of the best divi payers in the ftse.
Sold yesterday for 8% profit so pub for me to. JDW here i cum. Question is....do i buy back in lower.
For once i got something right. I figured the markets and institutions had already priced in the results, which i'm convinced they know in advance, so sold the lot last night at an 8% profit. Its nice to beat the market once in a while.
I took the plunge today and sold my Lloyds shares with an 8% profit this afternoon (even tho they may go up more tomoro with their results) and bought more PHNX at 635.
I am well overweight now but hopefully will do well with the next divi at , again hopefully, 24p.
The next divi puts me in overall profit dispite my capital being 4% down.
Happy to rethink if anyone has a differing opinion.
Topped up at 274. May regret it if Ukraine situation gets worse not better. Hopefully with ex-divi not far away things will be fine for either a swing trade later or just a LTH and cost average down on the dips. Hold phoenix, aviva and Lgen now so you could argue i am far to overweight on insurers.
Sold 200 shares at 680+ yesterday just in case i bought Disney on the drop. Bought them back this morning at 656.
Thank you.
Sorry but i sold at an 8% profit from Friday. A little in to Netflix but am sitting on the cash till after we go to war with Russia. Lol.
I figured last weeks panic was overdone and oversold do i bought in.
8% up so far today.
The market is a petulant child.
4.22% dividend currently- trying to be positive.
3569 on T212. Surely this price and over a 4% divi is cheap?
Average down or hold?
Is the price drop due to the US as i think they were closed yesterday as public holiday.
Got in at 3680 on Trading 212 after selling alot of minor shares i only had a few £100 in with no divis but were up 5 or 6%. I've either been a complete buffoon or it will work out ok if this is oversold. Think UNLV is a 4% divi at these prices.
I might regret it but took just over 5% profit at 2756. I only bought on a previous drop for the divi and this is well in excess of the 53.9p i would have got. If it dips next week, i might buy back in again. Love playing this game 4 times a year.
HSBC down 10p after the BOE announced no rise in interest even tho most of the banks have scrapped their low fee mortgages. Guessing its just a knee jerk reaction as HSBC will continue to make a shed load of money.
BAT and Aviva all down too.
