Sophie I agree everyone is entitled to there opinions but a lot of people on here are looking at the longer term view of the business not a few days of how the SP is going !

Baron could not agree more some on here are only interested in this short term good luck to them but moving forward longer term they need to understand the approach of the new CEO. after all he is the Boss not some individuals on a share forum that has No bearing on the SP good luck mate

Sophie with all due respect I can assure you there are a lot of people and things going on at the business that need urgent attention ,Tufan will address this and if your long term in this business then judge someone in a year or 2 not a day after all he was left with these issues he didn’t create them and stock markets wants to here truthful trusting statements not fiction !

Sophie what Tufan did was to address a lot f the mistakes Both management and staff have been making over the last decade ,he has given an honest outlook about the business model and staff and it’s a Wake up call to those people that He won’t stand for this anymore.I worked there for 20 years as an aerospace engineer and saw a lot of people on both sides who just didn’t get work ethic so I’m sure Tufan and his team will eventually weed out these wasters and also get the business model moving forward together with chaos savings and debt reduction he Will succeed ,give the guy a chance after all he did a good job at BP and things will start to turn from next months results going forward ,I can’t say too much as my wife is still employed there ans is compa senior staff but just have a little faith in the business long term and more importantly Tufan

I’ve had. Lovely day out and then I read a lot of posts who panic and assume because of some reality about the business in RR from Tufan that this is the end ,well I can assure people that this is a total over reaction to a strong honest statement of where the business is now but also where it will be moving forward,I have to laugh at all the negativity in the SP when it drops and then people arrive and demonise the business but as I’ve always said if your long term then this a reality check but look at the bigger picture let’s see where we are in a few months !

Carrington All valid points mate and as well as good resists next month this is looking very positive moving forward, also it keeps the shorters on here quiet amazing how they don’t seem to comment now that they have realised the business is only going forward , Once the board buy back some shares and dividends are offered again later in the year could be very rewarding

I understand your opinion but your missing the point that it Does matter who supply’s a service to an airline but I’m not going to argue it ,im sure other people on here who are in the industry understand the point I am making so as I said I beg to differ ,Results for RR will be positive for there business model next month though so at least we can see some more upside in the business

I beg to differ I accept it helps the sector for airlines to be doing Well but it is still down to whoever provides the service to those Airlines

It’s about who uses the engines. Simply put if nobody has certain engines from a supplier then it doesn’t matter what sentiment there is around they are not servicing an airline so are not recieving any funds ,Flying Hours is Money not sentiment, ask any aero engineer the same question and you will get the same answer ,knowledge about the business is important to have!

Just to clarify as an ex aero space engineer RR don’t supply engines ro Wizz air or Ryanair and only a few to American Airlines so whatever there results won’t have any bearing on RR Long Haul is where RR make all there big money so BA and the Arab Airlines and Asian airlines would be more beneficial to RR !

That’s all down to future results and any buyback program later in the year
