George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I've sent AJ Bell a message regarding this too. If this is true then it is surely the best option as we don't lose our ISA wrapper
JohnNth - I'm not too sure about any of that. The Jarvis IM staff member said it would cost £18 to do so and after the sanction news I felt time was now of the essence so was happy to pay it to get the ball rolling.
Recklessferret - As you probably already know, but for the original poster's benefit; leaving your shares in your ISA means you aren't entitle to dividends. If there was any news to say you could still receive dividends or even claim your missed dividends back once this has all blown over, then I would be keen for that idea.
I just requested paper certs from Jarvis, cost me £18 and did it all over the phone. Once you get the certs you can register them with Tabys which will allow you to receive your dividends. To set up Tabys, there's a step by step on the poly website. The options have been laid out a few times on this board but this seems to be the best option right now. Jarvis IM made it clear on the phone that the paper certs requests is a matter of urgency so you don't get forced into a sale. Once you would like to sell you will need to register with a kaz broker but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm in for the long haul so I'm not too concerned about that.
Blue I actually agree with you, would be a good idea to get an IFA. You don't half bleat on about it though
From what I've gathered, the easiest option for now is to get paper certs then register them with tabys so you can still receive dividends. When you choose to sell, you then must find a Kazakh broker. Hopefully by then everything is much clearer. I'm personally going to wait until 30th May for the vote before I ask for paper certs.
Im with LSE Jarvis. Thanks for the info
Is there a set date for when this will be suspended for trading?
Big Blue have you sold out or holding?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge but the same applies for shares in an ISA?
Wasn't aware of that, thanks for the info
There's some of amount of loonies on this board, that's for sure.
I'm really confused. Exactly why am I getting it tight for asking which brokers are allowing this share to be bought? Considering there's only a few left allowing it, whys it such a ridiculous question?
Thanks folks. I bought this ages ago but my friend is looking to buy in. If you all must know...
Can someone please let me know where I can buy these shares?
Carltt - Why are you always on this board if you have no investment in Poly? Pretty weird thing to do
Any financial gurus out there who have a good idea of what a split would potentially look like in SP?
Pandmonia do you not think we will still rely on Russia for the precious metals used for batteries and all electronics?
Big blue I bet you love a good war movie
Pandamonia your outlook on life is not only ridiculous but also bleak, I actually feel sorry for you.
