Listen to our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode 'Uncovering opportunities with investment trusts' with The AIC's Richard Stone here.
Some of the de-ramping here today is disgusting ... we are only down less then 20% after rising from 12p in December with a 42p dividend. BRH is not a £500m mcap company like Ncyt or £200m mcap like AVCT. With only a 30m mcap today's news was already essentially already priced in. 120 second test, 1000 virons per millilitre and matrix testing will surely get some big boys sniffing around considering our low mcap. Then you have the seemingly endless potential... Sepis/Cancers/other virus's ect ect. This will now take longer then we hoped but still holding here for £3+
Could that article be referring to our test or would we have been told by now if Porton Down where involved? Paraytec certainly fits the bill. Guess we we will find out Monday.
From 5th August paraytec update:
"Our approach, in which viral attachment to affinity macromolecules may be imaged directly using a highly sensitive detection system, has the potential both to undertake many tests in parallel, as well as delivering results in minutes, all without the need for trained health professionals for their operation."
Why is there so much heated discussion here today? It literally makes no difference what anyone posts here now only thing that matters is the incoming RNS. Time for de-rampers/rampers to step away from keyboard and just let this play out.
The anticipation is killing me and driving us all mad which you can see from the posts here today/last night.
"Results from this phase of clinical testing are now expected by the end of February."
"The update also stated that the results from this phase of clinical testing were expected by the end of February and this remains the case."
mcap £54m / Price of oil = $65 .... This looks like a £150+ mcap company to me . It seems like all the juicy carrots being dangled and the fact oil could move even higher are not priced in at all?
"The diversified portfolio continues to perform at or above expectations, with forecasted 2021 net operating income (revenue minus royalties, opex, transportation and processing) of approximately CAD $35 million "
"Over the three-month period ending 31st January 2021, i3's field sales estimate averaged 9,150 boe/d (41% liquids). These production volumes exceeded the forecasted rates of the competent persons reports used for i3's 2020 AIM Re-admission documents by over 1,000 boe/d."
"High impact horizontal Falher formation production test at i3's Noel property, located in Northeast British Columbia, further confirming the unrecognized potential within the Company's existing diversified portfolio of assets. The well is expected to be brought on production at approximately 500 boe/d during Q2 2021"
"Discussions continue with a potential farm-in partner for the Serenity discovery and terms are being negotiated. The recent strength in commodity prices has reinvigorated activity within i3's virtual data room, and additional parties previously contacted during early 2020 have now re-engaged with the Company. The market will be updated if and when an agreement is reached."
This is NOT the time to be overly negative... this is the time to get greedy. There are too many positives here now to count and the only negative is oil MIGHT go down. Pressure is building 10p+ is coming IMO.........
I'm as bullish as anyone here but i can't help but recognize many will have applied for excess shares happy to sell for quick 20%+ if they can get it. Expecting a dip when they hit the market , then big buyers will show their hand and we will motor on to 30p+ GL ALL
TheShareGuy - I think the short here is not that Paryatec has been slow but that it's bl0ody hard to create a rapid AND accurate Covid test. Many of the rapid test projects seem to have gone quiet which makes me think their struggling. In a few days we could have the only genuine rapid (under 5 minutes? ) AND accurate test! The anticipation right now though is hard to stomach, wish they would just release the RNS already and not leave to last minute as always is the case with stocks.
Are we expecting these TSX gains to transfer over here tomorrow? I hope so but looking at trades there at one point went from 0.2 - 0.3 on only 40kish shares bought? Dont get me wrong loaded up here today so any big rise tomorrow would be fantastic!
So basically as long as oil stays at these levels or higher Serenity farmout is a VERY strong possibility?!
