My error - post Dec admission of shares (total 1,346,090,838 in issue) MCAP was approx £40m. To reach again with current share issue (1,790,093,838) would take an SP of around 2.24p.
Will there be news before the results 'in a couple of weeks'. He was understandably vague about the timelines for announcements (no deadlines to be held to) but I liked his awareness that better shareholder engagement was necessary and that EQT in the past had been 'run like a family business'.
Following the recent appointment of Ian Price as our new CEO, I fully support the business review being undertaken. I believe that the fundamentals for the waste-to-energy sector have seldom been so good and that the existing pipeline of projects presents a significant opportunity for shareholders.
I think he has a typo on that statement - areholders should be replaced with - orters
Could Ebioss be trying to offload some shares without depressing the price too much?
In the last month and a half since the vaunted Ian Price joined, the price has fallen by a third from 1.31 to 0.87. A little bit of engagement with shareholders wouldn't go amiss.
EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), the technology solution company for waste gasification to energy projects, is pleased to announce that following the appointment of Ian Price as CEO on 6 August 2018............slightly more than week...........
I don't think EQT will see news until October - you can't just whistle up engineers out of nowhere, and contracts will be based on the ability to deliver. I don't think EQT will see 1p again until then either.
