I was under the impression that drilling began in August last year. I will have another look myself later, I vaguely remember reading drilling had started but like yourself, finding any details or updates or nigh impossible. If you go into youtube and type minco plc, warren McLeod has a video up from oct last year, it might have been on there.

The only time Minco usually spikes is directly after drilling results. Yesterday was just a blip, on relatively low volume, probably fuelled by aim rumour. Im still confident when we do get news we will see a considerable spike, but unfortunately there is still no sign off it.

From either buchans or woodstock, im hoping its woodstock, though if we do get news this week from either project it could be followed very quickly with news from the the other project. Either way things seem to be going in the right direction, hopefully we get a good payday, its been a long wait.

You are really clutching at straws if you are waiting on the ressurection on Xtierra, its fallen from almost 30c to the 2c range in 18 months. The pennines is also struggling. All our eggs are in the Canadian basket and Woodstock and Buchans are both still potentially great opportunities for us, particullary Woodstock. I realise you are trying to stimulate interest in Minco but until management release an update on the Canadian projects there is literally no news or information to comment on. Yes it is frustrating but it is reality. We have had one drilling rns since July last year, for a paltry 3 week program of only 550m. No matter which way you butter it up it is a major concern. The sp usually does spike signifigantly on drilling rns as high as 5.5p 18 months ago and I wouldnt be shocked to see it happen again but we need news soon or we could slip below the treacherous 1p mark.

Minco have been in the pennines for the best part of three years. They have drilled 29 holes, they have only drilled two holes in the past 6/7 months. The results to date are mediocre at best.Rowan Maule comes out with the same ****e every 12 months in the local media in the area, promising this, that and other. If they were more serious or confident of success they wouldnt be messing about with a single rig for six months of the year. The posters there are neutral, a lot have spent their working lives in mining and geology, a good few are local and want the project to succeed but almost to a man they give this project little hope. It would be a lot more professional if Rowan Maule could give the shareholders the results of the last two holes that were drilled a couple of months ago but he would rather entertain the local media with tales of mining in the area and 300-500 jobs within 4 years. I fell for the story first time round, nearly 3 years later he still has the same bull.

The pennines project is dead in the water. That article was first released in 2013 and is rehashed every year in different regional newspapers. After nearly 3 years, minco have 5% of mineral discovered in order to run a viable mine. Woodstock and Lundberg the only show in town for the time being.

The 1p sp could be breached today after the 1.05 sale late on yesterday. Definitely a worrying time being a minco shareholder at the moment with no sign of news.

At end of sept last year minco had cash $6.6m and we were told they were adequately financed for 2015. There is 5000m of drilling (should be nearly completed) at woodstock, apparently drilling is to resume at Pennines and ive no idea what is going on at buchans. If we dont hear from Canada soon we will definitley slip under 1p. One good thing about Minco is it does spike signifigantly after most drilling rns's. if we are lucky enough to secure a jv or sale of plymouth deposit at woodstock it could rocket. The next news from Woodstock and Buchans is critical, ive lost interest in the Pennines project, too long term for me

I saw that article on aditnow this morning. Mining in 4/5 years it predicts, im sure there was a similar prediction 2/3 years ago.

After our flirtation with sub 1p last week, at least we have stabilized since then. Still need to hear news soon, even confu is getting restless and he is the most patient, optimistic poster you will ever come across on this bb.

Today could be a turning point, it looked very likely at one stage we would go sub 1p. Pschologically it would be a difficult cross to bear. Tmpocket, I dont think Minco have a lot of options, I feel Woodstock is our best chance of success, but we are totally dependant on getting chinese involvement; either by sale of woodstock or a jv in woodstock. Apparently they are in the process of 5000m drilling program at present, these results are vital. I am still quite optimistic about woodstock but I think our choices are very limited. The xtierra project and pennines project are unlikely to bear fruit in the short/mid term and I honestly havent a clue what is likely to happen with Buchans. Bar a rns for a very small drilling program of 500m in buchans we have not had a rns of any wortwhile information since july last year.

Before christmas there was a 3 month suspension of drilling in the pennines, yet there was no suspension in previous years for such a long period of time. It was suggested at the the time that it seemed curious. Since then two more holes have been drilled, there has been no mention of any results and the drilling equipment is in storage, despite the advantageous weather conditions which have hampered this project in the past. In October we had a 550m drilling program from buchans, the results were very positive, in hindsight though it really was a small sample size, the program took about 2.5 weeks, why has there been no more drilling exercises? Warren McLeods youtube video from oct last year suggested that tsx membership would be obtained by christmas, and I presumed it was probably the reason for having the agm in Canada but there has been no mention of it since. In isolation none of the examples I have given are alarming but when they are all combined in such a short period of time, it does give some cause for concern, particullary when the sp is at a record low.

The fact they held the agm in Canada, 2 days before christmas, possibly the most inconvenient time of the year, even for anyone who might have been willing to travel. There is good reason to believe they did not want to face the shareholders, every agenda was rubberstamped with a 95% plus majority, at the time there was a bit of disquiet about the whole thing. There is just a bit of a stink about how they handled the whole thing and things have got worse in the 3 months since. Xtierra and pennines both look like hopeless cases, buchans and woodstock are at stalemate. Cover up is maybe the wrong phase, maybe there is nothing to cover up, hence the silence, the inconvenient agm etc. The shareholders are being deliberately kept at arms length

the current sp has to be a huge cause of concern. We have had 500m worth of drilling results from buchans in probably 18 months. Woodstock needs $20m for pre feasability and feasability studies according to warren McLeod, money that minco does not have. The drilling equipment at nenthead is currently in storage at wrightbus garage in the pennines according to posters in aditnow.co.uk. The agm just before christmas looks more and more like acover up job. The longer we go without news the more suspicion and concerns increase.

Woodstock is definitley the key project in the mid/short term. We know there is 5000m of drilling ongoing, we know from McLeods video in october they are courting the chinese manganese producers. We havent heard anything official since July, there must be news in the post soon.

There have been a few companies recently that have had their sp at crazy lows, exploded dramatically, and collapsed again. Ive a feeling Minco could follow a similar pattern in the coming months. There is a suspicion by posters on other bbs that the minco is suppressed deliberately for a variety of reasons, regardless I intend to keep a very close eye on minco over the next few weeks. There will be the annual spike, but judging when to capitalise is key. Last year a regular poster in here weissy called it correctly and got out at approx 4p, I wonder if he has been tempted to dip his toes again at these record low sp levels.

I believe you 100%. Surely there should be better regulation and greater transperency for all current and potential investors.

If Confu was part of minco we would have had our rns last week.

Its not a very inspiring portfolio at present. However, I think Minco's key projects are the Canadian ones and Warren McLeod seems to be pulling the strings there, so hope springs eternal.
