Be careful what you wish for, another scenario if America or China are so desperate for Helium and they do have spare cash to rush this to production, whats stopping these companies from approaching the Tanz government and buying our licences from them, and kicking HE1 out.

The proverb, every cloud has a silver ling could not be more apt in this situation for HE1 and its shareholders. The suffering that people all over the middle east are exposed to and we including myself are dreaming of 10p per share.

This US/Israel v Iran war is not going to be a quick fix or a fast ending. Iran clearly has the upper hand, while Iran remains in control of the Hormuz Strait until they have demonstrated Americas weakness.

If the US could have regained control of the Strait they would have. Slowly but surely world leaders are turning their backs on America and by association Israel, following commercial hardships for world economics. Once the West has been sufficiently penalised for this illegal war, Iran could set the terms for ending the conflict, and that price could be the resignation of Trump and Netanyahu.

Would the West pay that price?

@DickieT, I ask the same question a month or so ago, and someone I cant find who (apologies) explained that the attempted to raise cash cash via a placing, which wasn't fully sold . The placing at 0.005 remains in place until 23rd April 2026.

Dubai-based engineering company Sidara has abandoned the acquisition of Scottish energy company John Wood Group Plc after lengthy negotiations amid growing geopolitical risks and uncertainty in financial markets. This is reported in a press release Sidara.

Sidara sent the first takeover offer to Wood Group in April 2024 at a price of 205 pence per share, but the application was rejected along with two subsequent ones. As part of the fourth offer sent at the end of May, Sidara increased the value of the offer to 1.59 billion pounds ($2.04 billion) at a price of 230 pence per share (52% higher than the closing price on April 29, 2024).

In accordance with British law, August 2 was the deadline for submitting an official takeover application Wood Group, but Sidara refused the proposed deal. Wood Group said on Monday that it is confident in its own strategy and business prospects, confirming forecasts for the current and next years.

Minister Mavunde Calls for Immediate Implementation of Licensed Mining Projects
