Could be interesting to see if any more big buys at the end of the day show up ,3 million and 1.6 million is quite a hefty two buys , is a buy back ? 64 million to buy back wouldn’t take to long ,stealthy buying, I mean 4.6 million is quite a chunk out of 64 million, if it were to happen, and quickly, time will tell , who buys 4.6 million into a short going on ?

I’m hoping the 5% is settled soon as SD said it’s coming to a close , so hence a big attack on the SP , 8p ? ,could it go lower ? ,who knows, I’ll be topping up at about that price, but to hit the low is almost impossible, my average is 14.3p at the moment.,hoping to average down to 12 ish .I’m pretty certain the takeover bid will be above that ,but how much I’ve no idea , so not a disaster, life’s a risk ,some you win some you lose just don’t go to deep.

I think they’re telling you they will except 10.07p for a sell .

There was a sell of 100,000 for 10.07p , these shorters are really worried, not .

Some of the ramping posts on here are getting hysterical, the issue is not what’s in the ground, we all know that , but it’s if the private investors are going to benefit from it ,and it’s not snatched away by a takeover, or institutions, it doesn’t matter on any good news on this share, we could have gold nuggets being picked up off the ground, remember what’s happened on news here for a year and a half , drops every time , I personally think they are waiting the 5% , and then hammer the SP again, it’s only my opinion, but I’m waiting for 8p and a low 5% offer.

I agree , this share is like the titanic, with the captain saying, there’s plenty of lifeboats, and we all know what happened to the unsinkable ship ,all the rampers saying how wonderful everything is , so for newbies, take care only “ gamble” what you can totally afford to lose , no pension pots as I saw someone say ,believe me , if this sinks , the captain and his merry men will disappear very quickly under water , I’m not bailing out as ,this ship is taking in a lot of water but probably won’t sink completely, may need a tug to pull it out the mud , but I’m waiting for 8p and the 1 p 5% offer, then let’s see if a takeover bid is put in buy anyone .

He’ll have no say if an offer is made and there’s a vote ,if 75% of the votes cast say yes , deal done ,the only question is how many votes can newcrest count on ? , he’ll probably reject the first offer, but there’s still the possibility someone else may bid against a low offer.

I’m not ,placing ,placing, placing , I’d seriously wait ,who’s paying for all this extra drilling, the fairies at the bottom of the well .

That’s the main concern ,we’re taken out on the cheap ,if you get 15- 20 p offer ,you’ll be lucky.

There is a possibility of another mining company looking at this very low SP , and thinking about all the assets in the ground are worth more than that ,who knows,the instigator of the demise of the SP may not be the eventual benefactor, if a takeover offer is put in by you know who ,it may possibly set of a bidding war ?

I afraid you could be right , if this SP reaches 8p , what do we think the 5% is going to be 1p ,2p ?,we are being stitched up like a kipper, a hostile takeover of what 12p tops , if you buy on the drops and get your average down to that level you may have a slight profit , they will make sure they have the percentage of shares required or very close for this to happen, it doesn’t matter what’s in the ground, the scenario is they seem to do as they like with this share , there’s so much value here ,we’re not going to get our fair share ,unless you’ve not bought any yet ,then you’re on a winner, I hope I’m wrong , very wrong , but it doesn’t look like it , I’ll be buying at 8p ,a substantial amount to bring down my average to near 11p,, why not sell now you say ,we’ll if I knew the bottom guaranteed, I would.

Sad to say, but I think the 8p offer for 5% is not far away, I’m not rebuying until 8p ,it’s been hammered for a reason , and GH selling at 19p was a good move ,it’s difficult times for GGP holders ,no one wants to see their money drift to almost nothing, I hear holders including myself saying, well it’s still in the ground, but events beyond our control have taken over ,I fear it’s being stolen from us , I’m not selling.

Well ,we’ll see ,three days ago I said I expected a new low ,and here we are , most of my comments on the SP have been 90% accurate, check em out in history, an odd one I get wrong, but not bad ,as I’ve said in the past I’m a gambler, not investor .

Always buy on the drop ,but not all in on every buy ,common sense prevails, it’s called experience, learnt the hard way.

I certainly did at 12.34p ,I just go a bit annoyed at missing the low ,but I normally do ,haha ,on reflection today ,I see this heading to 10 p ,I wonder if the 5% is about 0.10p ,it would make sense if it was , to announce it very shortly so no sudden SP drop , I unlike many on here do have substantial funds if required to buy , my rule is never overstretch yourself, I’ve had loses but if GGP collapsed today it wouldn’t change my life , I’d be gutted but not worried.

I trust no one , many are there to slit your throat if they can have you over ,hostile takeover, who now’s ,directors are responsible to look after its shareholders.
