I don't think so. The shorters come in and destroy the share price, company forced to waste cash buying shares . Then they agree to let them go with a nice profit. Get real.

LIke Warren Buffet says find a share you like , then buy at the price you want to pay. If divvy got to 5% I would be tempted to start buying , as you say the divvy will rise over the years. Another interesting point is all over the Westcountry , housing estates are being built , this will lead to higher revenue on connections and long term bills, GLA

Only 2.5 % of stock is shorted, not huge and most is from last year, this is something else causing this . May be a regulator problem , looking to buy in long term but want 6% yield .GLA

These are normally tracker funds buying automatically to keep the portfolio asset allocation correct in the index, robots doing the same or muppets. Great run of rises GLA

Nice to see no let up in the purchasing , a terrible use of company free cash , however its the only response to market abuse by shorters. GLA
