Capita had their 2 day housing conference this week. Just been reading that Castleton exhibiting and demonstrating there.

A little old I know, but another one going live this financial year, first phase. Just out of interest.

Kypera wins Community Gateway for service delivery - March 2016 Community Gateway Association has bought Kypera Hometeam as its housing management system for its staff and 6,100 tenants. The first phase of the implementation is scheduled to go live in July 2016. Based on the latest Microsoft .Net technology, Hometeam will enable the housing provider’s staff to access tenant information including tenancy details, rents and property data in one place allowing staff to better record, manage and track tenant communications. The solution also includes an online portal for tenants to access services and communicate with Community Gateway.

You may be right Chris. Think Kestrel due another RNS, and wouldn't surprise me if they continued a little at what may be the cheapest price.

Well, they've agreed to pick up most, if not all, from whoever's selling. Not acting in the sole interest of other shareholders.

You persist in posting. To make any sense we have to start from where we are now. Therefore, what are your thoughts on company performance? You apparently see a sudden reversal in fortune to be reported. Why? Or do you consider Castleton, having substantially completed it's integration can now progress in the social housing and wider public/not for profit sectors, and maybe into profit this financial year as suggested.

Regardless of who's buying what/where, FinnCap are giving Castleton Group 90p., on this basis, for the current and next financial year. "The picture is now expected to see significant improvement as the bedding in process has largely been completed resulting in a cash flow yield of 4.5% and 6.9% respectively over the next two years, which should also see improved adjusted pre-tax profits of £3.6m and £4.4m."

Just reading North Star went live with Documotive CRM in July 2016, in customer services, has very positive feedback, and intends to roll out to technical services, housing services and supported housing. This follows a 2 year engagement with Castleton, during which it took on Castleton Agile Customer App.., and Agile Staff App. North Star says with regard to CRM, " The big benefit that our customer services team has found is being able to access so much information from a single screen, and then being able to link to other systems directly from CRM if needed."

Management have always said they intended to form a public and not for profit sector company. They said they would start with social housing because it was well funded and addressable, with a requirement to use technology. It's a buy and build. They have bought companies with solutions capable of working across the sectors. They now have their own writers/developers. It is no secret that the integration proved challenging, they told us so,and I suspect they're still tidying up, but they say it is almost there and they can move on to concentrating on cross selling, are well placed to compete for larger contracts, and are transitioning to longer and more profitable contracts. For the purposes of my own investment I am content, though the selling is irksome.

Social housing is not referred to as ' niche ' by anyone, only Kooler. Aareon solely in that market has revenue of about £200mil. Neither here nor there actually. But Smith does say :- ' Our aspiration is to become the leading niche software and IT managed services provider in the public and not-for-profit sectors.' That's in addition to social housing. That could be huge, on top of the social housing business. We'll see what is meant by it, as things unfold, as we will with profit. We'll get a clearer picture over this financial year, with integration done, or almost done, with their intention to win larger contracts, and as Smith says, more profitable contracts. Really quite simple.

I take no pleasure from it. But then you add in that Stroker is/was Ibans, Chimers is/was Chomsky, and the picture becomes even clearer as far as these names are concerned.
