Good morning Denby,
US inflation is still at 2.99% (target 2) overall average is 3.2% I think, the FED have been hoping it would drop to target before business closures and job losses (soft landing) it hasn’t. Now the FED’s only job is to control inflation - so what they gonna do?
They should and must stick if they play by their own rules.
As WB says- you see who is swimming naked when the tide goes out.
1000’s of US businesses will be running on fumes begging for a drop, but they are not ready and “experts” predict 2.8% Inflation by year end.
They are Fcuked.
If WW3 kicks off , Oil is gonna boom then we all get high inflation again.
