"wrong Irene....you are describing a simple formation test/sample procedure that has got fxck all to do with a more sophisticated Mini DST where straddle packers are set, fluid pumped out through the tools into the wellborn for several hours cleaning up the near wellbore and creating the drawdown, pumps shut down to enable recording the pressure build up. Samples taken at an appropriate time......by filling the chamber but that is not what provides the data required to characterise the reservoir.

I've got a degree in Petroleum Engineering if you want to debate any of the finer details of well test analysis and have years of practical experience through supervising numerous well tests offshore but it's brutally obvious you actually know fxck all about it so i suspect you won't want to debate it.

By taking up the funding offer that tells me they believe the drill will be successful and if the II is happy to invest at this price then so am I.

Thing that annoys me the most about aim shares of which BPC is classic example is that the bod never do anything for the shareholders benefit, it's always about prolonging their wages though some convoluted finance scheme, it happens every time.
Anyway rant over, drill results are now purely boom or bust, I've got good quite a bit on that it's the former.

grant agree, I know loads of people who would spend every penny they get on rubbish tat and wouldn't think twice being heavily in debt, unfortunately they're also the one's who would use cmc's to fraudulently claim against genuine companies like Amigo, cmc's should be banned.

So let me get this straight, the deal with LO is that they will get a minimum of 2.30p a share on a holding of 300M, if the drill is a success then obviously everyones a winner BUT if it's a duster and the sp crashed to say 0.5p (quite likely) then BPC would legally have to pay LO back the difference of 1.8p x 300M = 5.4M which could possibly mean BPC going bust, surely the bod aren't that stupid?

Used to trade this a few years ago in the good old days, sad to see any company get delisted.
As for a binary bet it most certainly isn't, think I read somewhere that over 90% of delisted companies never come back.

If these eco idiots had their way they would ban all oil & gas world wide, they will then wonder why nothing is produced (goods, food, plastic and practically everything else), the world would literally grind to a halt.

The sp here is actually very predictable, sell on the spike a month ago, buy again a week later at 25% discount then wait for the next spike and repeat. This is one of my favorite long term shares where my share holding increases on each spike.
I wouldn't get too tied up with Tory cronyism, if the product is as good as they say (which I have no doubt about) then sales will flow naturally, I expect contract news to come in January.
