I've been thinking a lot about why they didn't go to TD and why the rns was quite upbeat, the only conclusion I come to is that I strongly believe a major is indeed onboard and they had agreed for P1 to be drilled by BPC just to verify that a working petroleum system is present, P2 will be drilled exclusively by the major to the required TD for the commercial oil. I reckon the contract will be an upfront payment of a few Million which will be used to progress BPC's other assets plus 10% ownership of the Bahama's oil field thus no need to change the name.

Being a bit selfish I would love it if it went in the 0.40's for a few days, I would buy a few more million then.

Do your own research, I've been in many shares where this has exactly happened and it's almost as satisfying seeing derampers get it wrong as making money. Get in cheap Irene before it's too late.

I always take it as a positive when a bb has lot's of derampers especially after a big drop, it's generally a sign that the sp will rise significantly on the next rns.

Jdam, if it's anything like other 5hit or bust shares (oilers and medical) the initial drop is nearly always over done and most have bounced back to double or more soon after.
I expect a good news rns to land in the next few weeks and can definitely see the sp around the 1p -1.5p by then which is why I bought a load more this morning to bring my average down to under 1p, the big question is do we need more funding?

18th February as I believe it's 60 days since spud plus it's my birthday and I'm hoping for a nice present from Mr Potter.

"wrong Irene....you are describing a simple formation test/sample procedure that has got fxck all to do with a more sophisticated Mini DST where straddle packers are set, fluid pumped out through the tools into the wellborn for several hours cleaning up the near wellbore and creating the drawdown, pumps shut down to enable recording the pressure build up. Samples taken at an appropriate time......by filling the chamber but that is not what provides the data required to characterise the reservoir.

I've got a degree in Petroleum Engineering if you want to debate any of the finer details of well test analysis and have years of practical experience through supervising numerous well tests offshore but it's brutally obvious you actually know fxck all about it so i suspect you won't want to debate it.

The time taken to fill the chamber has got absolutely fxck all relevance to the mini DST v DST discussion.

Thanks to the drop I managed to get another £5K worth at a price I thought I wouldn't see again, now it's just a waiting game.

Think you will find everybody else has said the exact same thing on many occasions.

I topped up first thing this morning at 5.75p as I had a feeling the bottom was reached.

Actually it's good news, the sp can now rise without the pressure of sellers, sometimes LL have a minimum set price bit like a stop loss and they have to sell.

I always liken it to an elastic band, the more it falls the harder the bounce.

Some nice chunky buys this morning, the unknown trade was definitely also a buy ;-)

Feel sorry for all those that lost having stop loses triggered, this was definitely pre-planned by the mm's to aquire shares on the cheap and is exactly the reason why I don't set stop loses with aim shares.
