Well if you're right, and I suspect you are, and EMH will simply be bought out at some point, the question of by whom and how isn't really relevant to us. But my concern is that the fact EMH's holding is a minority holding will put potential bidders off, because at some point, a mining major has to get involved and I'm not sure they would do so for a minority stake, whilst I also doubt that CEZ (read CR Govt) would be willing to part with their majority holder position. This is why I'm curious to know how it might work.
A more interesting discussion would be how that would work and what it might mean for EMH, whether VW or any other car manufacturer. Would they buy EMH? They'd then own a minority stake and who would do the mining?
How do you end up with CEZ remaining the majority holder, a car manuf. owning something, and someone mining?
VW jv with CEZ on both mine and GF? And then partner with a miner? Or something? To much for my little brain.
Well not what I expected. Nor any of us I imagine. But the Drylab team are pretty good in my opinion (John Mahtani) and this RNS strikes me as very hopeful. Rare earth mineral mines in Angola were always going to be a bit dodgy. This could take us down a much better route. With the emphasis on 'could'.
Well I'm in a few but it's EMH that I'm running out of patience with.
Waiting on the sidelines here but thinking of flogging a miner and coming in here instead. Can anyone point to expected timelines? I know this is often difficult... but a month? 6 months? 18 months? Some sort of feel for the likely pace of developments here. One reason I'm junking a miner is that I've been there for years and the returns are always tomorrow.
Why is the CR pushing for efuels rather than electric when they have such significant resources that support electric (li and Mang) and are making such noises about GFs?

It constantly amazes me that the media seems completely unaware of the 4th largest hard rock lithium resource in the Czech Republic. Why are we so under the radar? I though KC hired some company a year or tow ago to address this.

Well the last time I received a reply, which was way back in August, I was told that things were proceeding but that due diligence processes were at a glacial pace and the lawyers are slow in Uganda so no timeline is available.
ffs VW is not the whole of "manufacturing ability in Europe" Of course the debate is still on as to where VW go... and the CR would seem appropriate because of Skoda and Cinovec. VW are just playing politics and trying to apply pressure.
Personally, if it's 10 bill they want, I'd tell them to shove it. Then see what they do. What do you imagine they'd do with their entire home base of operations in germany if not build GFs? There are plenty of markets for our Li and there's an argument to made that the CR should not want to be so dependent upon VW.
As for the EU.. at least GFs are getting built, unlike the UK where they go bust when they're only half built, with paltry financial support.
