Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Still nursing a slightly fuzzy head lol . . . .
- PR will be stepped up dramatically from where we are now, I spoke with Joe at length about the power of social media, how pictures paint a thousand words. A Twitter account is free used by many companies and is a great tool for us PI's as well. - Passed on the contact details for Wayne who runs Momentous Events, Justin at SharePickers and Alex at LSE ShareTalk. They're very keen to start building a presence and admit that the AMYT story isn't known by many and acknowledged that as a failing. They have been in London for several days talking to investors, there was a meeting on a few minutes before mine so you can see they want to improve. - They have been approached by potential partners already which is very positive to hear. They themselves have done know chasing around to look for suitors, this is a great sign as it highlights the value / uniqueness and potential we hold. - BREXIT was discussed, this we concluded is possibly a big influence on potential investors from the continent and I think the vote has influenced a lot of shares recently. People want to see what happens and whether the pound roses or falls in value, so will they get more or less for there money which makes perfect sense. - Nasdaq is very much a target as we already knew, it's a year long process with certain prerequisites needed. They have satisfied some of these and are actively working in the remaining. The possibility of a fast track listing ie 6 months not 12 is an avenue they are keen to explore if it can be achieved. - They are funded up to atleast the end of 2017 which is very good to know, they would like a partner(s) onboard to help further the company and lessen the need for cash after that point. Personally I don't think it would be an issue with a very good phase III product as well as AP102 being pushed forward. - 102 is in its early stages 18 - 24 months away from data, that's fine as we have bigger things going on in EB. However it is nice to have in the pocket and will generate solid revenue when it's time comes. - Regarding a buyout, it was a pretty genric answer and one I'm sure we'd all appreciate. If the right offer came they'd be silly to turn it down. . . . - News flow is due over the coming weeks / months although for obvious reasons they didn't say what that will be and really it's not my place to push for that. - For those unaware there is a very small % of shares in free float, IMO when this moves it will move very well. In summary it's not the position they would have liked the SP to be in post RTO however it came at a time when it was the worst January for pharmaceutical companies in 20years, they had a deadline to stick to or would risk losing the deal altogether. They don't believe the true value and potential of the products was known and feel very much like they have got there hands are a hugely undervalued company (good for us), can see many multiples coming for the patient investor, you only have to look
Really good chat with Joe and Rorey tonight, will post a little summary tomorrow but nothing we don't already know. A few too many G&Ts right now. Very happy to be holding here and will add when the opportunity comes GLA, IMO this will do very well for us. . . .
Quite a few already in LF, happy to sit and wait or add if the opportunity comes
So we're In agreement then. Meeting companies is a good thing. Nothing dodgy happening. Let's all make some money here. GL
Baggy noooo dont go there lol! In all fairness I hope he's making some money somewhere, never like to hear people losing money, although he was an acquired taste . . .
I think you are fighting a losing argument here. You could request a company goes on a podcast as a share holder, it's quite simple. Eg - go on the sharepickers site - fill in the form and see if Justin can arrange it. Or the same for LSEsharetalk, Alex if he can will arrange an interview be it by phone / Skype or face to face. If my broker has supported a company why would that company then chose not to hold an investor meeting such as this one later in this afternoon. Surely you understand it would be in their best interest to 1, meet shareholders who the broker brought on board 2, keep the broker happy, build the relationship for future growth 3, gain some free PR If all they do today is reiterate points which I fully expect, then there is nothing deceitful going on. I said yesterday buddy the chance to meet the BoD is invaluable, to look in their eyes and know whether it's all crap they're talking or maybe just maybe we all here (yourself included) may have found ourselves a winner. Which brings me onto teamwork, you can only ever win in this game as a team, everyone will have their own targets but sharing information / tips / ideas / strategies is how to walk away at whatever your price is in profit. I'm grateful to lots of people for sharing with me and I know several who feel the same back. No agendas, just happy to see investors doing well, something I hope we all can. . . Stop being so negative lol
Feels like somethings brewing. . . . Q3 round the corner and we are due some drilling news, could be talking rubbish but it's very quiet for a company about to start production GLA big year ahead
Ok ok you are clearly far more informed than me and I suppose the likes of LSESharetalk or Voxmarket or sharepickers all doing their podcasts and meeting companies 1 on 1 is also smoke and mirrors and none of them ever hold positions in the companies they interview. . . Or wasn't there another event recently, ahh yes the UK investor show https://www.ukinvestorshow.com clearly all smoke and mirrors there lol More to the point why would you not be happy that a few are speaking with the company you have invested in and are then gong to let you and every other holder here know how it went? Your comments are bizarre, either way it's up to you to either listen or not to listen, I'll be chatting regardless when there is something worth talking about I think you have been found out mate and I'll be going know where regardless of the September SP, investing is not a playground game. The potential in AMYT is to great an opportunity IMO not to want to invest in. Fantastic BoD with some solid pharmaceutical roots laid down. It's alright to except you were wrong, why not get a ticket and have a look at an event for yourself, I know plenty who could testify to how good they are. Or try a different social media platform, there are a few on this board who do
By equitrader you're boring now, move on, sell you're shares if that's what you said you'll do and find another place to go. . . . You clearly don't understand the full piece Nick has wrote For ref http://www.momentousevents.uk have a look and something, it may help your investing, this is just one of a number of events you can attend if you chose to. No more arguing with you
Thanks Nic, spot on As you say, good PR for the company, which post RTO we could do with. Really like the direction they're heading and happy to hold here even through this baron patch. MTR Twitter feed summed it up nicely earlier "Public companies can often be making progress when the share price has a period of apparent weakness. Market not always correlated!" GLA
Will do, I appreciate I've rarely posted here, for those on Twitter you would see more. Not a massive fan of LSE chat but always happy to share with other investors who don't have the same opportunities available
So as far as 'wow some people don't have a clue' goes, I suggest you talk to your broker or find a decent one
Umm I don't think it is mate to be honest, it's a meeting with a company which is arranged by your broker. Nothing 'insider' is talked about. It happens all the time, meetings, events, emails, correspondence etc etc. The chance to meet the faces behind the company you are invested in is invaluable IMO. This is how you get a feel for them, not back alley dodgy dealings lol I'm sure there are plenty on here who would like to know how that goes, could list quite a few I've been to. Have you ever heard of momentous events? That is exactly what they do - putting Investors in touch with companies. Attended the event in London with them a while back and again in Birmingham where I met ARS & BKY. Attended another event in Walsall with KRS & NMG. As well as meeting NMG in London prior. Met with Leon of JLP 2 weeks back. Please don't associate me with anything illegal, it certainly isn't For those who are interested I will post how it went after, there are a few of us attending Thanks Ant
A quick reminder of why we invested and what's on offer. https://www.shardcapitalstockbrokers.com/downloads/AmrytShard20April2016.pdf Off to London for a chat tomorrow, quietly positive and looking forward to hearing what they have to say
Really good to see we've found a solid base at 0.18 With production round the corner I think a SP anything higher would start to indicate to me that certain key catalysts are becoming priced in which currently I don't believe are. Nice buying opportunity and one I'll certainly be taking up if I can. GLA old and new, looks good
We're in a fantastic position, with strong support around 0.18 the chart is looking good and IMO primed for a substantial rise. GLA not long to go now
To hear everyone so upbeat, solid RNS today to be backed up by further good news in due course. Can't wait to read about those drill results and I hope everyone saw how high some of the grades were today, for a starter pit it's extremely encouraging. GLA
Personally I don't feel much if anything is built in to the current SP, expecting a nice hike come production and again throughout the year if the BoD keep playing this out as they are. Certainly learned from previous and are doing a good job of not letting investors or the market get carried away, at least not until its warranted . . . .
Wouldn't be the first time they've been short of shares, I know previously mm's have been phoning brokers trying to gather some. the smart people aren't selling for a while here
