From recent RNS: "Taking into account available cash resources and the expected Net Proceeds, the Company expects to have sufficient cash resources to fund operations into the first half of 2022."
I was thinking that 18 months (which was suggested) was rather a long time. You could interpret that the above actually limits this to nearer a minimum of only 12 months could you not ?
Was thinking the virus may be the death for Iron but perhaps not ? From interim results:
"For Ironveld, there are currently no operations or supply chains that have been interrupted and there will be no material day to day impact other than restricted international travel which can be dealt with using electronic communications."
How is this meeting going to be conducted given the current situation ?
"The grant of the Option and the Fundraising in general are wholly conditional on shareholder approval being granted at a general meeting of the Company (the "General Meeting") and to the Takeover Panel granting a Rule 9 Waiver*. The Company will publish a circular together with a notice to convene the General Meeting in due course. Under the terms of the Option Agreement, exercise of the Option must occur on or prior to 17 June 2020. Should these conditions not be met, then the Fundraising will not proceed. "
Moneymaker "The Group's present financial resources and existing facilities are considered sufficient to enable it to operate until March 2020" Begs the question , would M.E. really take up this position if he was only going to be paid for a period of app.6 weeks ? This would suggest to me that funding is not actually our biggest hurdle but has already been dealt with.
