It surprises me the negativity and glass half full perception of several here regards Polygon.

As others have said a company with these resources doesn’t build a massive stake like this on a punt.

That doesn’t mean that they have had a sit down with RM to get chapter and verse but they could easily have a range of friendlies giving them
the heads up not to mention the resources to make discrete enquiries of all the various test sites. If it had bombed the medical staff would know or equally if there significant and consistent improvement in some patients faster & beyond what they would normally see.
