I'd agree with the sentiments of Much et al.

I reckon something much larger is happening here, esp with the strategic direction this is going in. When its all said and done, are Navitas simply dragging Rockhopper along? Would it be of benefit to Navitas to get rid of us early on? I can't help but think that, logically, we will never reach first oil. As much as I want that to be the reality, I reckon we'll get cut out before it comes good.

What that looks like is anybody's guess.

I just wonder whether we see strategic buys over the next couple of years, particularly from our Israeli brethren. I did'nt think it before, but I now can't help but think we are going to be bought out well before we have even touched first oil.

Another thing that he said which I quite liked is how senior the team was (Ian Ramsay has been in the oil sector for 34 years) and the broad experience at both larger and smaller outfits which he believes makes a large impact but with agility.

Ian Ramsay comes across really well. Only question mark for me would be FPSO will either be routed to PL001 or Isobel/ Elaine after first 2 phases. Sounds like Isobel/ Elaine will be prodded sooner rather than later if thats the consideration...

LTH here, having held from around an average 80p buy in …alllllll the way down to an 80% paper loss, I’ve held and held and now it looks like Rockhopper have finally got air in the lungs and are pressing forward.

I’m always checking in and have watched keenly for little trinkets of knowledge from the likes of @muchaboutmoney

Much, without being held to anything where can you see the share price actually going to in say 2030 with a field that’s hitting the targeted production, Isobel being appraised etc. I guess I know there is massive value but to extrapolate from where we are where does the share price land - and I do appreciate the answer could very well be…the sky is the limit
