Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Great news, SMT. Delighted for your Mrs and all family.
Echoing so many here, Thoth. I would not have built my stake from the 20,000 I inherited from my late father without your great informative posts (along with a handful of others who we all recognise) over the last 8 or 9 years. Wishing you all the very best and that you will return to rude health in time.
Thanks - i will go and follow your son. My best wishes. From a fellow early investor who has so far not had family affected directly by cancer but hope we can soon move to a greater opportunity of solutions.
Thank you for posting this.
Thoth - i do hope you have a full recovery. I am deeply indebted to you for your research which (among a few other LTHs) made me do my own digging when i inherited SAR shares from my father some years ago. Also indebted for your projections, your humour and some of the videos (though not all - even if they are always appropriate!). Stay well and please don't disappear on us.... Thanks again
Ahfam, my thoughts are with you. Please stay strong, look after yourself and family. Do cherish the wonderful memories. Take care.
Not my game - I have a working ****er - but so glad you had that great break from 'normality'!
SCH - sitting on your hands doing other stiff made me think. But i guess you needed that to have your children. Take care
Hear, hear. Just to me old mum for her booster today - Brilliant organisational set-up. Then on to a NHS hospital for some neurology investigation. Exceptional service all round. Just wish that i could have squeezed out of the window into the car 10 yards away rather than a 15 minute wheelchair walk (only a wheelchair as she had a slight fall as we arrived). 3rd world problems but such great service and attention to detail.
I back you up SteadyDanny. I have been a LTH following my Father's death a few years ago when I inherited a few. Did a bit of my own research but largely depended on the excellent posters on this BB to take me a little further. I read the BB but don't feel that my experience would add any real value. But i have enjoyed the last few days around patents. Thank SD and the other excellent posters.
Hope all resolved for you and your wife.
Must be a great village - hope the pub is as good as ours.
Must be a great
Many thanks KM.
Might stretch to a remote for the boating pond if Sareum has the legs - so to speak.
All the best for you and yours too.
As one or two others, I am a relative newbie. Registered here maybe 18 months ago. Picked up a few shares 5 years ago when my father passed away. He had been very ill with dementia and parkinsons for 7 years prior so he must have bought them over 11 years ago. He was not an investor per say, preferring the building society approach. I bought my sisters interest in his very small portfolio and then set about wondering why and when he had bought the shares he held. Still no idea!
In 2019 i started doing a little research into Sareum and with the exceptional help of some of the posters here, I bought a reasonable holding in early 2020.
I would like to thank those people who have generously shared their wisdom, their links and their wit. They know who they are. In the early days on here, I drew up a spreadsheet sorted into divisions depending on the quality of input. Sounds a bit judgemental but on going back to it over the weekend i am suprised how 'accurate' the ratings were.
So thank you.
BTW - i will not be buying a yacht even though i used to work for NautorSwan. My holding will not do that. Hope to get a model yacht for the boating pond in the park though.
Oh, Beadnell beach. Lost my youth there many moons ago. Beautiful place.
My father left 20,000 shares to me in 2016 when he passed away. I did my own research on his portfolio and with the help of posters here and a little of my own limited research bought into Sareum from then on. Sadly, i could never ask him why he bought in as he had severe dementia in the last few years. So he must have been in the share from early days. But he must have known something as he was not a regular share trader. Hoping that my subsequent investment might allow his grandchildren to get some benefit.
A huge thanks to other LTH who have given so much help to those of us over the years. Also for some of the sabre rattlers who have brought some humour (mostly to their own detriment!) . Good luck, one and all.
