Intuition vs reality. Don’t Google!
I am scuba diving at 50 metres. As you probably know as I ascend the gas in my body expands, and if I rise too fast I will get the bends.
I therefore ascend in 10 metre steps, pausing each time.
Which of the steps causes the most expansion of gas, and is therefore the most dangerous.
I’m particularly interested in gas expansion, pressure and taters 😉
No.
It merely illustrates that one’s intuition can be wrong. It’s mathematically sound.
Now you may think that is irrelevant, but it isn’t claptrap.
You might want the check out the Three Goats problem from Monty Hall.

There’s plenty of other drivel.
Maybe Chesh is a drivel-bot
Great analysis of the possibilities folks, many thanks.
I guess the only other one, which isn’t in play yet 🤣would be connection to the pipeline.
Puzzled!
Morning Billy.
I’m by the difference, if any, between “gas sales at the wellhead” and the CNG development project.
Voskos,
Might it be that we are reaching the point where the bank guarantee is no longer required, if the minimum work requirements have been carried out.
Not sure how it sits on the balance sheet but it might be available if needed to cover the discovery bonus?
Plus it can be guaranteed non fracked
Hi Nigel.
I am deeply re-assured by your loss of interest.
To be fair (???!!!) Nige only came up with the water shortage thing for Sandjet testing, conveniently ignoring the fact that lots of water is needed for the drilling process itself.
😉
It’s a long story
Resource not that big
Overhyped it
Diluted shareholders to hell
Long way from anywhere
Upset the authorities

Irish Times yesterday.
The Green Party would not rule out being part of a future Sinn Fein-led coalition but negotiating a sufficiently eco-friendly programme for government could prove challenging, Eamon Ryan has said.
The Greens’ leader said his party wanted to serve in government again and was open to talking to all parties.

While making clear that included Sinn Fein, Mr Ryan questioned whether that party could make the environmental commitments required to secure his party’s participation in a coalition.
Mr Ryan joined party colleagues in Cork on Saturday for the Greens’ annual convention.
The Greens joined Fine Gael and Fianna Fail in coalition government after securing 12 Dail seats in the 2020 general election.
The party has seen its poll ratings fall in recent times, a trend Mr Ryan attributes to major world events, such as the Covid pandemic and war in Ukraine, diverting focus from global warming.
He said the Greens had suffered due to the temptation to “shoot the messenger” when it came to the challenges of climate change.
But he expressed confidence his party would fare well in next year’s local elections, as he insisted the Green tide would turn again.
Spent Monday walking about 10 miles over Yorkshire limestone.
Some big hills, riddled with cracks, fissures, and fossils of all the marine life that helped form them.
Pleasant to imagine all that buried in an underground kitchen, and what might ensue ….
L wonder if Sound Energy ever retrieved the legendary, or possibly mythical downhole pressure gauge?
We know how that worked out for Del Boy and Rodney.
😉
Good PR but sloppy journalism, surprise surprise !
Seem to be confusing Morocco with TT
“The core funding strategy of Predator revolves around generating near-term oil production and cash flow through drilling infill production wells, which can subsequently support CO2 enhanced oil recovery. This approach promises increased production rates and cash flow while requiring significantly less capital investment compared to drilling new development wells”
Interesting point about the trigger event Nick.
There is a theory that everything might be released together rather than piecemeal, don’t know if that’s a factor
