Deloitte consultants are very expensive
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9161125/Test-trace-consultants-earning-average-1-000-DAY.html
imagine 900 consultants throughout the country at £1000/day (as per the article), that's £0.9mln per day expense just for consultancy services

In respect to planned vaccine improvements against new variants, does it mean that some people will get 4 jabs this year? (2 jabs now and further 2 jabs in autumn). It's very difficult/impossible to predict when the fight against the virus will be over. There is little hope for going back to normality soon, unfortunately, it will be from one lockdown to another lockdown. Testing and vaccination programs to stay with us for years...
Testing will be with us for years to come.
Government has ordered 40mln doses of Velneva vaccine (which won't available until 2022 the earliest, vaccine hasn't passed the trials tests yet). Patience is needed that's all. Stock value has been ruined by shorters and people expecting magnificent year end results. Results were good indeed but far off Bluesky scenario. Just more patience needed. I am long-term holder and not worried about recent price fluctuations.
Fantastic RNS today.
We have no shorters on stock, only stop losses been triggered today.
We know that P/E ratio is too low, therefore looking forward to an updated broker report.
It will take another week or two to see us pass £12+ again and going towards £15-£20 on new contract news
Just got a letter from DHSC
"Your child's participation in this study will help the Department of Health and Social Care monitor the levels of COVID-19, including the new variants of the virus. This study uses a very accurate method of testing and provides vital information about current infection rates" - not sure what test it will be, but I will report once arrives.
"Your child has been chosen at random, and taking part is completely voluntary" - I think this is part of that £20bn testing program.
"The test is a swab of your nose and throat and will arrive by post. A courier will collect the test from your home and return it to the laboratory for analysis ... " I hope this will be OCR method, it doesn't sound like LFT (fingers crossed).
I'll report once I've got more useful information available.

Q108 - In the increase in the budget from £15 billion to £22
billion, of that additional £7 billion funding £6.2 billion is earmarked for
testing, which continues to be the principal driver of cost. The difference
here is that a much greater proportion of that uplift is around the lateral flow
devices and new technologies to support community testing and
asymptomatic testing, rather than further material scaling up of laboratory
capacity or PCR testing.
Looks like we will still see a mixture of LFTs and PCRs for a near future.
Agreed, watch from 00:58 - 01:14

Is it similar technology, which NCYT is going to release in Q1 2021 as per RNS November R&D update?
