I get what you're saying in terms of historic values, but the pound has had its weakest point a few months ago and is gaining strength again, up 6% in past few months.

Ideally we don't want 1.35 or 1.40 against dollar any time soon, or it will chip away at any dividend we take home.

Exchange rate was 1.23 a couple of months ago which is 6% worse than today's rate.

Fair point on the exchange rate, but when Ned asked how £1.5B sale would be fed back to share holders, I don't think he was asking how a £1.5B dividend would be fed back to share holders and there's a big difference.

Stockdale, you want to ignore bank fees, 80% mine ownership and exchange rates?

In your calculations $1.5B divided by 2,866,774,624 total shares is $0.52 per share, which is 40p per share using todays 1.30733 exchange rate.

But only 80% of that is ours, so the 40p becomes 32p. That's without bank fees and without EUA keeping some for developing WK.

Happy for someone more in the know to correct my figures if they're wrong.

Stockdale, my calcs aren’t anywhere near 55p for $1.5B, more like 29p {which is still great]. And that doesn’t include Eurasia setting some aside for development of WK if we assume asset sale of MT.

Bear in mind Eurasia own 80% of the mine, there could be bank fees of 5-10% and exchange rate is not in our favour at the moment as pound is strong.

If trades are being held back, SP will update after close. Be nice if there's a few 1M trades lurking.

Agreed when MMs dropped price last week there was good support. And we know most stop loses have been triggered, only way is up from here.
