I voted against the low offer price; I suspect many other did as well. We are dealing with the Chinese here so who knows what games are being played? Apologies to any honest, genuine expat Chinese out there; hate to generalize but, well, business is business?
This company has alot of potential; I like to think of it as a pharma company very focused on the commercial side of making money and growing the business. One of the best cannabis plays out there (not all talk and hype like many of the others).
They probably did not know it was going to be TW next target... If investing was predictable we would all be rich.
Never heard of this.
Oh well you could always get a job driving the owner around: https://www.mycareersfuture.gov.sg/job/others/driver-grand-fortune-holdings-fundco-5ba2b81ce3c81ccc1129fec305a92b44
I must admit I am very surprised by the fall on this one. Just goes to show we are in unpredictable times. Was waiting for a buy in point but think will wait until we get a confirmation of the bottom.
Had a look at the rns. Think the price is a bit high and the fact they will use it to build stock for autumn/winter rather than some expansion, etc, makes me think they are not making enough profit to buy stock, etc, and as others have mentioned there was a raise some time back. Thus its a no from me.
Seems to be some negativity driving the price down below the daily 200 ma. Anyone any thoughts on this? Seems a good buy to me?
Seems we have a new almost 30% share holder: https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/DNL/holdings-in-company-mmwb2ipi9eqlh93.html
Wonder if it will be a battle like kaz? Whatever happens there will be a profit for me. The longer term big profit will be preferable.
I was not expecting this. Anyone got an idea whats going on? Hope they are not suspended for too long.
I might add why would a trusted bank like HSBC buy 5% from a nill holding? I just added some more.
Despite all the good news, etc, the price seems to be suffering. HSBCs TR1 should be supporting their confidence in this.
With todays RNS I guess it time to accept. If you don't accept and they just take them anyway will you still get the divi offered? Wife still has a small holding.
Anyone seen the Primarybid offer? 34p which is the market price. So apart from saving yourself the trading fee, what is the benefit? Unless they think the share price will shoot up, but I did a bit of research on Lithium Americas and they are not producing till 2023, and there is some environmental opposition to it. Google thacker pass. 34p might be a good deal IF it rockets and does not subsequently drop back?
I am surprised we unsuspend after 2 months and there are no updates other than there will be a trading update by the end of March. I think the patient share holders are owed at the minimum some form of update. Also it would be great if it does not read like an Italian opera; I mean straight to point with facts like other RNS's.
I recon the directors can't win taking this private. If they offer £10 the share price will go to £10. They would then need to offer £15 and then there might be a take up or maybe the share price will just follow up to £15? What do people think?
