Bucklerfern - If you think shorting is good for the market/companies and every body else, so pls explain to me, as to why was it outlawed on 2008/2009 financial crash. How comes other EC don't allow it.

Cuddo who will FCA/PRA will tell the outcome of the investigation market or BOD

Every 1 what we need to bear in mind is when SP falls every day for a week, soon or later it's going to recover and therefor nothing to be upbeat about it. If it goes up for week or two every day say 5 to 10% that means it has turned the corner.

Cuddo - would FCA annouce the out come of the investigation to the market or will they send the finding to the BOD?

Frankys1971 - IMHO higher the shortters, better for us, those who are for long term. The main reason for me saying are. 1) Metro is well financed to deal with any short coming and won't go bust. 2) soon or later the shortters will have to but back the shares they have borrowed and hopefully doing so will increase the share price. Main thing is for every one to hold their nerve. No knee jerk reaction, should SP go down a little. Feck the shortters and day traders, who are helping to keep the SP down a little.
