Enrico's mention of glasses indirectly reminded me of something sometime ago.
I wear specs but when things are normal and pubs, clubs were open I would wear contact lenses on and off ( or in and out)
One weekend I must have had a little to much to drink in a club.
After a couple of days I felt that I could not see properly through my left eye. Eventually I went to the opticians, had eye tests etc. Then finally they exclaimed " You've got your contact lenses in ! " Well I must have been so tired/tipsy I forgot to remove them before sleeping . I felt so stupid.
Still, I've probably done worst things than that. ( But never pink knickers on nose ! )

Newby and Doc used to hate each other but found after continued acquaintanceship their friendship flourished into loathing.
