Nobody is likely to sell you their shares for 25p. Given this never traded lower than roughly 50p briefly, and given most people have sky high averages, they will likely hold on to their stock rather than sell it for 25p.
Most people I know who got in this in the weeks leading up to suspension when this was at it's cheapest also have averages nearer £1 than 50p, so I can't imagine anyone wanting to sell for 25p.
Who knows what the future holds for Evraz in the UK. Given the UK government and regulators were happy to make up lies about Evraz to justify their actions, and given the government is happy to break the law, Evraz is ultimately at the mercy of the our corrupt globalist leaders. That being said, Evraz is still a very strong company with a lot going for it outside of the UK, so there's a lot for shareholders to be quietly optimistic about.
If Evraz was broke and in financial tatters then I could understand people selling their shares cheaply. As it is, I for one wouldn't let mine go for less than £1 if indeed I wanted to sell and/or needed the money. Just my opinion.
Sick of the classic conspiracy theory term being bandied around nowadays. Let's face it, the conspiracy theorists have by and large been proven right, and the mainstream media/government (Virtually the same thing nowadays) have been proven to be habitual liars and spreaders of disinformation/misinformation. The biggest conspiracy that is 100% proven and now out in the open is between the media, the government and the liberal lackeys to the new western oligarchs in waiting who are purposely destroying the west to consolidate their own power. Anyone who thinks that is a conspiracy theory at this point is a lamb to the slaughter.
To RA's credit he was doing all he could to broker peace. The reason he's been sanctioned to the hilt is for that very reason. Peace doesn't fit with the direction of the US and UK's foreign policy that's been quietly agreed behind closed doors.
Have you not seen Saudi Arabian officials giving the US the finger and fist bumping Putin. They know like many others which side will serve them best and it ain't the US. Most of the Middle East, Asia, Africa and even vast swathes of South America have sided with Russia.
I'm surprised the US has any allies left after all the allies it's either betrayed or bled dry. The US has run out of countries outside of Europe who will do what it says when it says it. So now the US is in the process of crippling it's European allies by cutting off the EU and Russia's trade relations so that all the European mugs will be forced to buy America's overpriced LNG. The UK will of course dutifully suffer for the US cause as it has done for decades. Not the European people will roll over and freeze to help bolster US hegemony quite as easily as the UK wimps though.
I was referring to the Valdai Club meeting actually. Western propagandists refer to it as part of Russia's propaganda machine. It's simply Russia's equivalent of Davos or Bilderberg, with the main difference being that the discussions are frank, recorded and out in the open, as opposed to rich perverts from the UK and US conspiring against the western world behind closed doors.
The posts which get the closest to the truth will no doubt be the ones that get deleted by the establishment lackeys who infect every corner and institution in society nowadays.
My posts keep getting deleted too mate. Free speech is dead, but we can keep speaking our mind regardless of what the anti-free speech moderators do on these forums and regardless of what the traitors of 77th brigade do to attack their own citizens.
"shame really as I kinda liked Russia back in the 90's when she was released from the communists grip"
The west loved Russia in the 90's too, when the clown Yeltsin was busy making a mockery of Russia and it's people.
Russia isn't isolated by the way. Did you not see the conference Putin attended recently. He spoke in a calm and measured fashion, unlike the leaders in the western world. The conference was attended by dozens of movers and shakers from major nations Russia is allied with. Western nations like the US have very few allies, and what few it does have it exploits and/or betrays. Even a number of America's allies are now siding with Russia and experiencing the benefits, such as not having to sleep in a cold, moldy house because they can't afford to switch the heating on. Benefits like being able to afford to eat real food at their leisure. Benefits like being able to live a normal life. Remember when we enjoyed those luxuries, because it seems a long time ago already.
Get ready for the rampers spouting the old "give it twelve months" line to all the people they've mugged.
Of course British leaders have never been responsible for murder or attempted murder on their own soil of political opponents. I suppose Dr David Kelly killed himself with a pocket knife and Tony Benn poisoned himself.
In fact, when you consider the sort of people Putin supposedly has killed and the sort or people the British government targets, it would seem Putin targets rich treacherous prhicks, whereas the British government persecutes decent honest people.
My point was nobody holds anything in this climate especially not over the weekend, unless perhaps new is a certainty on the Monday.
RTO's take a long time in most cases. Every prospective RTO I've been involved with over the last few years has taken no less than the best part of a year to reach a conclusion, and most of those either fell through or a deal was done at a dreadful price.
The current market, especially in the UK is dreadful for getting RTO's across the line.
In the current climate I doubt very many people who are up considerably will want to hold over the weekend in all honesty.
Not a single one JppJ.
Most companies in the UK are run by the worst strain of CEO's in the developed and undeveloped world. The UK's financial markets exist for the benefit of everyone except investors. The UK's finance sector is the most unregulated scumhole on the face of the earth today.
I agree uNkwnTrader. I see people taking profits and this settling back in the 0.10p-0.14p range.
The market is a mess and nothing holds on to gains now. Once all the pumpers move elsewhere it will trade sideways I imagine until the next news arrives.
The West doesn't want Russia to reintegrate. Peace negotiations looked nailed on in March until Boris went to Ukraine and told Zelensky to agree to nothing and to keep the war going as long as possible. The aim is to try and topple Putin and knock Russia off it's perch before the western world devolves into hunger and civil war. At the moment the latter looks more likely than the former.
America has been threatening Russia and even Germany with sanctions for 10 years over Nordstream. Now the pipeline is complete, the US want to ensure that Europe doesn't help Russia integrate by developing a mutually beneficial relationship with Russia. The United States wants Europe totally dependent and under the boot of the rogue United States. America is willing to spill the last Ukrainians blood and watch half of Europe descend into famine to protect their interests. The British government is also happy to be first in line to sadistically destroy their own peoples lives to please the US overlords.
As Margaret Thatcher said, "the EU leaders are a weak lot". She was right, and now our leaders are just as weak.
The younger people who have something to inherit have a lifeline, but the majority of younger people don't have assets or anything to inherit, plus if they've gone on to higher education they are likely in decades worth of debt. The country is now unfair to the absolute extreme. I fear the solution to the obscene corruption in the western world will not come by way of democracy. The banking cartel, the liberal elite, the corporations and a small group of extremely wealthy individuals have established a scientific methodology which can undermine any democracy on the face of the earth and tilt the entire economy in their favour. Democracy was once feared by the rich and powerful, but now they know the formula to manipulating the gullible en masse, democracy has been turned into the enemy of the people. Ironically, and quite ridiculously, the only countries still putting up a fight against the grotesque western elite are the least democratic countries. Mainly because people like Bill Gates and Richard Branson et al can't buy there way into the Russian or Chinese government, and certainly can't influence Eastern politics in the way they can ours. In China and Russia, big money answers to Putin and Xi, but in the west, our "elected" leaders answer to the rich. In China and Russia one is rich but never powerful, but in the west, power and money go hand in hand at the expense of everyone, including our imaginary democracy.
Interesting to note the intelligence services over the last few days admitting that the stories about Putin being ill were propaganda and that he's fighting fit. Also interesting to note them admitting Ukraine soldiers dying is much higher than Russian soldiers. They've walked back their inflated death toll of Russian soldiers to a still vastly inflated 15k from what was originally a much higher figure. They've also admitted Ukraine soldiers are dying at a rate of 300 per day, more in line with what I said but received abuse for from 77th brigade bots and gullible cretins here.
“Our message is clear – no one is beyond our reach.” So the government is essentially threatening high net worth individuals who speak in favour of Putin or Russia. I'm sure the people who denounce Putin can go on avoiding tax as per the criminal UK governments policies.
The British government makes Russia look more and more like a utopia with each passing day.
.........Warmonger Ben Wallace is out of the leadership race. If Sunak gets elected he'll drop Zelensky like a hot potato along with all the other EU leaders. Things are looking up.
Fantastic news.
