hulie - I would think it is about time for a board change. It has been over a year now with this board and perhaps they can no longer raise funds. Or perhaps the bank account is to low to pay salaries much longer. Only time will tell.

Typically, a director is (or should be) a shareholder in the company. Directors are appointed, i.e. voted into office, by the shareholders of a company at a properly convened meeting of shareholders.

oldblue1973 - A better question is "How can anyone believe this board is doing anything for the company?"
There are a few on here that celebrate the progress of this board and we all know who they are. It is almost like a couple of them are board members.
I don't know what they base their analysis on, as there has been no progress in the past year!
I guess if a person sets the bar really low, this board can jump it.

Winnimandala - I agree. Ascent was sitting on a gold mine in Petisovci, but management is more concerned about chasing "pie in the sky" lawsuits and promises of a slight chance of Cuban operations. With the proven reserves in place, it should not be too difficult to raise funds and getting doing something in Slovenia. Seismic data and PTA analysis has allowed a reserve calculation and the resources are in place. We have been told this many times. If the management wants to create a successful company, they have to get off the a$#es and do something. It amazes me that they just sit and draw salaries and nobody makes a move to oust them. They don't even take the time to tell everyone how things are progressing! I am thinking that there should be another issue soon to cover salaries and bonuses to the end of 2021.

Is this not a bit suspicious? Put some shares up for sale at a high Ask price. Then a buddy comes along and buys the shares for your asking price. Presto! The share price suddenly jumps. Great thing is, you don't have to sell / buy many shares to make this happen!
