ta for l2, helpful ;)
Lets just hope they don't store them in all in one place making an easy target for the few targetted munitions russia likely has left.
> I wonder why no one is placing orders of any volume; brokers everywhere refusing buy orders.
There is always the chance everyone who wants in is now in and as vested as that can be / want to be. It would have to drop under 180 for me to chomp further, assuming platforms still allow, all mine did last time I checked.
> This is never going back to £15, or £10, or even £5
Overly neggie I think.
1. You think blackrock didn't do some analysis before buying up 10% of the company at 7GBP ?
2. Gold is not depreciating, poly continues to generate wealth, if its not reflected in the sp, it will be in the related divi at some point. Its a LTH
3. I simply don't see the current sp staying where it is, its going up at some point, based on news like (a) auditor (b) putin croaks (c) russia f's off out of ukr. How much is of course the $ question, but, who cares, I leave that to people with crystal balls (are stell balls if pricing goes the other way) :)
we thank you for your shares ;)
Hey Foor, thanks for that, very informative, should be a pinned post ! I had not heard the float was affected like that, I looked at https://research.ftserussell.com/products/downloads/FTSE_UK_Index_Series_Foreign_Ownership_Restrictions_and_Minimum_Foreign_Headroom_Requirement.pdf , but I don't find it a fun read.
A comprehensive approach indeed, like Putin being deposed, Russia getting the F out of Ukraine.
#beingpicky you're out by 100, for a percentage, what you gave was a ratio which isn't quite the same you have to * by 100 ;) so 0.17857% , still , agreed, its 'not a lot'.
1% of the free float on LSE is 4.736 million shares = *2.35 = £11.13 million GBP, 2 million GBP is not a 'lot' in those terms.
they seem to have some spare change lying about - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/OC360308
lol, anyone old enough to clock the swedish sheff and the count from ye olde muppets?
its all going to #### now ;) 6.5million dollars to take out a bog? lol, they will go broke, clowns.
so many maybee's. Maybe the see the trend that this could drop, and didn't fancy holding, a 'sensitive' type that doesn't like volitility, or a II just finally dropping poly from their books, who knows.
yeap, russian economy, simply: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1gYJDQXPOk
Yeap, so long as you can hold your nerve, this should pay off nicely. In a falling market, spreading your investment over 20 falling stocks doesn't sit well, compared to pushing 'more' into a severely undervalued stock (somehwat immune to current market drops) with huge upside when peace innevitibly comes seems a nobrainer. Sure, a total loss would be brutal, but I doubt that, and even a half way recover would be good enough long term. Im in at 80% of portfolio, granted, super risky, but with a long term view IMO this is a better 'bet' than other stocks in this whole stagglfation situ, never mind the global recession triggered by Russias leaders glory grab before he dies, hopefully sooner rather than later.
GLASH DYOR!
Yes I dont see Ukraine allowing that oceanic cut off. They need to get in, istall some heavy stuff coming in from outside , then return the compliment and just bomb the crap out of russian positions, all this would be completely justified under 'get off my lawn' morals. And then there is Crimea to retake.
Russia needs an ass kicking here to prevent (a) a retry, (b) nudging china to stay the F off Taiwans lawn as well.
In other news, a 240 close, well, thats a first, MM losing their 250 edge. minor buying oppo anyhow ;)
> while Russia now has it's path.
It certainly does, to the corner of the room, with the D hat on. And homework, write 10,000: "I must not invade other peoples countries".
If you sell some, I'll see if I can increase that ;)

Eh? the end is 'the sound a horse makes', what?! oooohh, the end is _nigh_ gotcha :D
> I note the resident Kremlin Propagandists on here have totally sidestepped that question.
Maybe they are worried about job security in the very very near future X)
