2days ago, shell shuts down 3/5 of its US hydrogen filling stations... I doubt hydrogen is going to play a big factor in the near future...

"In terms of taxation, specifically the company's taxation and not so much about the
shareholders taxation - the company after the re-domiciliation will be subject to the
Kazakh tax regime, although AIFC offers significant tax benefits versus the general tax
code for Kazakhstan registered companies and specifically, as Vitaly has mentioned, the
dividends will be exempt from the taxation in Kazakhstan."

See https://aix.kz/equity-income-tax/ , this echos the above and also refers POLY specifically.
Seems fair enough for a modern day hitler inflicing death and destruction on another country.
> 1) is there a platform we can use in the Uk to buy as some shares?
No
> 2) if we hold shares in a UK platform, will we be paid a dividend?
shared already held (and now locked) in UK brokerage co's that didn't force sell on redom should receive divis as/when. You should reach out to redom@polymetalinternational.com for specific confirmation

Now the relisting on KZ has happened your 'certs' no longer point to anything, the entire registry moved to KZ.
Halyk Finance are certainly an option for personal accounts, Assel is the contact there: a.tazhekova@halykfinance.kz, I believe there may be a process to import certs, its going to be chargeable, everything is.
Wood&Co are supposed to (under contract by Polymetal) still take personal accounts, can't comment on certs.
If you only want to hold, contact the AIX Registrar to get a registrar account is also a path (registrar@aix.kz) so you can reach out to get them to match your cert details, then they'll setup an online accout for you (no trading), the registrar portal has some data entry for bank account details for future use with divis.
> Anyone holding in Halifax - ive sent an emall asking if they will be holding the shares too?
I was, have since started the certificate path, should be done in a few days. If you haven't done this yet, you should do so, call them to do this, their downloadable forms do not work for this. If you don't have certs you may get locked in. If you want to use Tabys etc, having certificated shares is a pre-requisite.
IMO you should try to pursue HL, if you already have a holding of Poly with them, they aren't going to 'avoid' work, you should stress you are 'aggregating' holdings before withdrawing to certificates. I had the _exact_ conversation with Halifax, first transfer (_from_ HL) was cancelled by halifax, I explained as above and the second transfer passed, now cert request is acknowledged in progress. GL with HL!
There is no agreement, its a registration, woudl likely only matter if you were going to get divis 'soon' (ha), later, your certificated shares will be on the AIX register, to get divis you'll likely have to redo the ID/bank details (through tabys, or the AIX portal when ready).
> Is it possible at all to go certs without registering in Tabys
Yes. Going to certs is the quick/smart choice. Means there is no possibility of 'problems' with a transfer and 'liquidations', it means your name is on the share registry (will be held in AIX), potentially (when AIX portal is 'created', its not yet available) you could also reg there to submit banking info for divs as well. Doing nothing _after_ getting certs is the safe/happy path to continued poly holding. Then you have the choice to later reg either with Tabs or AIX registrar (when available), no worries, you still hold the shares.
This is the way
I had the same, honestly, I just sold outat a minor profit, you could withdraw the cash to your bank and purchase again on open market, then ask for a paper certificate from your broker and use tabys app to manage, you can collect divis but they will not be in your Isa/sipp, they will be payable to a nominated account...
> Risk on sanctions on Kaz just dropped....
Umm, from the west yes, but I wonder if RU will decide as a result of this that Kaz gets tagged as 'unfriendly', remember the Kaz redom was to appease russia not the west to enable 'corporate actions' etc. It's a fluid situation for sure ;)
> . Until this will stay in MATD and be happy :)
Presumably, watching the sp drop all the while?
cool, did you see the you ut vid from poly, search for PolymetalInternationalplc, shows some of the pits etc, is in english!
'FIL?'
guessing Father In Law :)
