Lets get one thing straight, wearing a mask will not and has not stopped the virus spreading…it’s pretty obvious by now. Just ask yourself where mask wearing is mandatory? Yes in hospitals and nursing homes. And where have the vast majority of deaths occurred…Yes in hospitals and nursing homes. Let’s tackle it from another tack-The virus that causes COVID-19 is about 0.1 micrometer in diameter. (A micrometer (µm) is one one-thousandth of a millimetre.) The holes in the standard face mask are visible to the naked eye and may be five to 200 micrometers in diameter. It’s been compared to putting up a chain-link fence to stop mosquitoes.
Masks are just a way of terrifying simple folk (most of the population) basically because the politicians can’t tell the unpalatable truth. That like the thousands of other viruses around this will (and is) now endemic. It will wane away into the background like influenza and all the others which have emerged over the last 2 million years.
The bottom line is-
If you are healthy what ever age, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
If you are very seriously ill with 3 or more comorbidities, a seriously overweight unregulated diabetic, or have a genetic condition which weakens the immune system, then take this seriously.
