I wonder if NoFear will invest again in Cineworld…
Guys calm down Debenhams and Thorntons were already in trouble even before Covid. And the Covid accelerated their collapse. But Cineworld was not in the same situation they had positive cash-flow paying dividend and was on the path to acquire more cinemas like Cineplex. I am talking about SpiderMan because we need big Box Office to make money. I am sorry Pastyc but more the Box Office is more the income is for Cine. Now we have all the bad news no more restrictions going forward. Next month the Q4 report will be positive and institutions will support us. If you want to disinvest that’s your point but don’t tell me that big Box Office won’t save Cine
You are right sikim it’s weird. More buys than Sells.
Hopefully and I am quite sure that SpiderMan will make at least $ 1bn at the Box Office and all will be ok from 2022
A friend just saw SpiderMan. It’s the best Marvel ever
I think all the bad news have been released for Cine and the SP now is fully priced with all these terrible news. Institutions won’t let Cine to burst with $8bn debt they will support specially now that Cine is making positive cash flows with only $600m on the domestic box office which is great. So I think that we will have the support…
Yes but within 18 months of investment there was no positive news on Cine. Every news put the SP down down and down.
I don’t know we reached c. $800m for James Bond now I am sure we will reach at least $1bn with SpiderMan. And still at 30p
What a day…
This new variant contributed to the decrease of the energy price (oil and gaz). By doing so the central banks in all around the world will wait until they rise the interest rate which is good for Cine. Vaccine is doing well in the UK and even the US so no more lockdown in the sight
5% would be even better wtf
There is nothing wrong.
The SP is low due to the fact that China is closing their borders and reconfine people. I know there is no Cineworld in China but this can happen to the west as well.
I have invested in the AirLines sector and according to their forecast the recovery is here but even in 2022 the number of passengers will be less than 2019 and we need to wait 3/4 years. Same for Cine so relax do something else. This SP won’t move a lot until mid 2022
I just watched Last Night in Soho - best movie of 2021
Very nice British production well done to the UK
True SmallTrader with only 85 releases for this month compare to more than 210 releases for the same month of 2019
I know it’s Cineworld board but just to inform you that the Q3 report for Air France has been released this morning and the EBIT has been positive +€800M for the first time since the pandemic era and the stock price is up and will be in a positive trend for a long term I think.
Same thing with Cine we all know that the next report will be much better than the prior ones (in the pandemic area) and will give investors confidence.
That’s why we need to hold tight
BullChit2020
New cases are rising I think it’s the uncertainty. I would add the court case as well
Hey Bonkers what I meant is with China studios made a lot of money so they will be more tempted to keep the theatrical window but without China maybe streaming can do as much as the rest of the world (All except China). It’s a supposition as I do believe in Cinema.
Why China did not release any of the movies for the last 2/3 months?
That’s an interesting question - as a shareholder going to Cineworld so supporting them would enhance automatically their balance Sheet and then will be rewarded once the next report will be release.
I watched at Cineworld No Time to Die and took Pop-corn Coke and Prosecco I spent £55 for me and gf - so yeah we should all go and spend our money into Cineworld
Hey anewman18 can you share tour experience with the VIP screen? I think there are unlimited food and drink but wanted to know if it’s valid for alcohol as well. What kind the food and the quality?
Enjoy the movie
Cheers
