Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Repyrr didn’ t Mooky say on H2 2021 thanks to Bond and SpiderMan Cineworld was saved? Cash flow was even positive! With a B.O. for H1 2022 higher than H2 2021 by $250m I am sure their Cash Flow was again positive. As a shareholder I accept to not receive any dividends for few years can’t debtholders or landlord do the same? Even for 1 year? System is crap.
I don’t believe any word from media Cine files for bankruptcy. After the appeal of Cine must have paid $1bn going into bankruptcy would be understandable but without knowing the result of the appeal? The most anticipated movie is Avatar they didn’t wait for it… we trust our money for greedy and idiot people their interest is their pockets let alone their company.
Anyway I lost £17k with this share… but I am still fine.
£3.25 the maximum was
It would be worth asking workers if they received an email to leave their jobs or a termination in their contracts
Sorry on Bloomberg in the top holders field. You can see all the position and transaction from all the institutions and the date for all the transaction whether is it a long position or short
I can see that Blackrock Inc bought 3.7 million shares the 18 August 2022 and they had bought 4 million shares on the 31/7/2022. With a total of 23.8 million shares.
Yes Flying you right Cinema is dead with a B.O. in July at $1.13bn with a third of movies releases compare to 2019.
Even a broken clock you can be right twice a day.
Everything that you can say sounds like right because the SP is collapsing… last month Everyman CEO said that they will add 30% of new cinemas…
I really don’t understand.
If you want to say that I will collapse do it after the appeal why just before the judgement?? There is a point here
Even on Bloomberg they forecasted a negative net profit for 2022 and all was priced in. I really don’t understand maybe it’s related to Plex.
At least now with this RNS Mooky proves that he won’t pay a penny to Plex.
Plex wants to sell its claim against Cine but guess what even Cine isn’t buying the amount that Cine will pay is 0
Still need 10 more millions of dollars for the domestic B.O. to be the 6th highest domestic B.O of all time
Top Gun performed better Friday compare to last Friday - incredible
Giantsquid I owe you $2 billion come and take it
1,005,000,000
The fact that they are on a way to increase their venues by 6 between H2 2022 and 2023 is a really good sign
Can we see the number of movies double in 2023?
Why do we have less movies in July 2022 than July 2021? (77 vs. 97)
Hey Betahighalpha. I had a check for the EBIT margin and it is very surprising.
Cineworld
EBIT Margin 2021 0.88% (still positive knowing that we were close for almost half year) and 16.58% as of 2019.
AMC
EBIT Margin 2021 -36.79% (negative this is because they haven’t closed cinemas from Jan to May) 2.49% in 2019
Cineplex
EBIT Margin 2021 -19.79% (negative) and 7.79% in 2019
Cinemark
EBIT Margin 2021 -16.71% and 10.31% in 2019.
Cineworld sp dropped the most but it was the only one with a positive EBIT margin. Mooky was smart to close all the theatres during the half of 2021.
Hey mountainous hope you are well.
I just double checked your numbers on Bloomberg and I agree with that.
Cineworld
Total debt to total capital : 103.88%
EBITDA Adj Margin 27%
Cineplex
Total debt to total capital 113.52%
EBITDA Adj Margin 16.1%
AMC
Total debt to total capital 119.97%
EBITDA Adj Margin 20.4%
Cinemark
Total debt to total capital 92.13%
EBITDA Adj Margin 24.4%
Do you think so Carnival is increasing as well in the same time than Cine
