Back in with QTR of previous holdings just now at just over 330. Large drop since results seems to now be on slow upward trajectory.more ammo if it does go lower. Gla.
PP- my message was very much tongue in cheek., Not meant to offend. On serious note if I had 100k to play with I'm sure I'll be glued to the screen unless as I was a millionaire at the time <(that was my point). I've made 10k with 30k pot so in a different league to yourself (wife and kids bleed me dry!)
Great business but too volatile. Don't catch a falling knife. Will wait for things to settle. For and don't be swayed by others.
Profits a profit sold remaining 50% when it went close to 370 this morning (on first bounce) bit of trading in the early morn, now sold out and wait for things to settle in a week or two
Sold half this morning as can see this drift down like Asos. Depending on price might top back up before close for big day tomorrow
Similar trend seen last Friday. Rude not to top up prior to 2.30pm.
Why do people still sell at the bottom before US wakes up I just don't know.
Very reassuring to know buybacks to support 400 mark. Like GSmiley sold half before yesterday's trading update and then reinvested qtr below 400. Today knowing buy backs still in place and working to support 400 mark seems a no-brainer to invest other qtr (in my opinion, dyor). Now sit and hold until MA or dividends come along.GLA.
Gsmiley- this time round we have buybacks to support sp if it dips below 400 so the urge to dip out might not be as great. Personally i think weighing up risk/opp means i'll be holding. Also the usual trading pattern not seen this time pre-announcement. Last time i did sell after the news and remember watching share price continue to soar up to 460-470 before the shorts moved in, this time i expect buybacks will help mitigate sp manipulation by shorters, IF no new news announced. Gla and dyor.
Someone mentioned on another board that there is a big anouncement tomorrow for Skrill and Neteller. Mentioned on there corresponding Twitter accounts! GLA...
What I find strange is how on such low volume the price can be walked down and then large after hour buys (sometimes hundreds of thousands) can be done at reasonable prices. If such large buys happened during trading hours thd price for the buy would be much higher sp!? Still got to be in it to win it so im holding for a probable rns before march TU. DYOR GLA...
Shorttracker updated today shows AEK dropped 0.27% and now total short down to 5.04%. As expected a downward trend rather than upward. Exane reiterates target price of 535 last Friday 06-01. GLA
pays purchased 125k shares yesterday and share price held up well. I for one will hold long as price will be held up by share buyback so really only one way to go. Risk/Reward looks good, why profit take now rather than after target update! Dyor and gla.
Lets see if US trades it back up at 2.30 this afternoon like previous days
High revenues in USDollar so can only be good for our results. Also expect US investors will look for more bargains on UK stock exchange (get more for their buck).
Guess previously there was uncertainty of how skrill would integrate but now there should be less uncertainty, no guarantees but Joel always seems to aim low to deliver high. That's what im hoping for anyway. Dyor
Meant US open
Back in just before us open. Seen 3 days of stability and not long for Q3 update. GLA.
You win some and lose sum betting against domestic retail sector makes more sense than a rapidly growing international e-comerce payments sector, all in my own opinion of course. There will always be movements in share price but pays trends look good and we know it can move up quickly on good news. The timing of Aek opening short position (at low sp) says it all, and fact no following pack. Dyor
Always seems like a lot of after hours trading, especially after a drop in share price. Hmmmm
6million buy last night after close also bodes well. Dyor
