I don't blame you but I think (hope) you're wrong and have just sold at the bottom of a dip. We all know theoretically this company is under valued and should be at least £3.00 but we also know JOG has had it's ups and downs over the last few years so people are wary of it. I've bought and sold many times and have been as much as £2000 loss and £1500 profit but at the minute I'm up £850 in the bank and £650 on paper as my last purchase was at 190. Very small beer compared to many here but I'm having fun without too big a risk and that's the most important thing I'm pretty certain we'll see a rise again soon.
I've been in and out of JOG for the last couple of years and currently up by a few hundred quid. If this falls much lower I'll be at a loss again so am also considering jumping. This really is a roller coaster. One thing that concerns me about oilers and especially oilers that have years until the oil is flowing is EV's. How long will it be before the number of EV's in the world kills the oil price? 5 years, 10 years. I don't know the answer to when it will happen but it's going to.
Hi guys Like an idiot I sold my remaining shares a few weeks ago and bought a dog with the proceeds. I made a couple of percent profit but nothing to get excited about. Then this morning I opened my browser to the big news and by then the price was already 110p. I thought I'd completely missed the boat but bought a few anyway and now I'm happy again. Ya gotta love the roller coaster that is JOG! Good luck all.
UKOG Currently down 24.5%, We were there a couple of months ago and it's painful. I don't think UKOG has the fundamentals to come back like JOG did though.
Probably money to be made with a quick flip if bought today but I wouldn't want to be holding it.
I have a DRIP set up to reinvest my dividends but haven't heard anything from Standard Life about the latest dividend, my last DRIP was in June.
I had a look at the Standard Life website and yip the latest dividend was payed out on the 18th of October.
Anyone know when they're likely to pay into the DRIP?
