What's that ? 180MWh of battery storage for our partner companies from just our own lil' company ?

Just like the Vametco mini-grid this will no doubt be funded from external finance viz.

1) Obtained external finance for initial Capex
2) Spend the money with our VRFB partners
3) VRFB partners buy VRFB electrolyte from us = cash in the bank
4) Use the renewables and battery energy storage to significantly reduce the energy costs we currently pay to Eskom (ohh and a bit more reliability for us thanks very much)
5) Pay back external finance over the next couple of decades using the money saved on energy costs.

This is not only how to become the lowest cost Opex Vanadium producer in the world it is also the way to become the catalyst that kickstarts VRFB partners in multiple continents.

Seems like you are wrong on multiple counts there GKahn - as you can see I responded 4 minutes before your post and have pointed out numerous times on this board just how overvalued (and undertraded) this stock is

GKahn - it is because in itself it is a trivial and obvious route for anyone skilled in the art. Thus there is no patentable innovation. I speak as someone who has patents to their name and knows what you have to do to get a patent applied for and then granted. Just putting an application in is zero guarantee that you can ever get it passed by the patent examiner.

They will never get a patent on making electrolyte from Ammonium Metavanadate - people have been talking about it in the industry for years. I myself went to a seminar 2 years ago where I held the AMV that they were going to be making electrolyte from.

Don't be fooled by this hot air - people need to do proper research into the field of VRFBs before choosing where to invest.

bassguy - the BE plant groundworks are now underway

Sanchez - indeed the final delivery date for the phase 1 Eskom BESS is 31st Dec 2021. Single acid electrolyte like that made at Belco is rather easier to put into batteries than the mixed acids electrolyte so could be delivered just a few days before final commissioning.
