No doubt these games are designed to obscure the pre-selling of the Atlas warrants that were exercised yesterday.

If you believe the trading data then you could try and work out when the warrants are going to be all sold and invest just before the price rises. If you don't trust the market makers then you might as well just buy tomorrow - for the warrants overhang will be gone before the end of this week and then the price will continue on its upward course.

Another key thing to consider is the structural changes that are happening in the Vanadium market. Unlike most commodities Vanadium is made predominantly as a by-product of steel sl-a-g processing - as a result if the price of Vanadium increases the amount made by the sl-a-g route does not respond because nobody will make a load of steel just to get a little bit of extra vanadium out as a by-product.

There are other long term changes that are happening in the Vanadium market:-

1) Reductions of Chinese V output from Steel sl-a-g processing due to better environmental regulation
2) New Chinese rebar regulations coming in later this year will legislate clearly for Vanadium in all rebar grades, something which previously had not been done and had had resulted in substandard non-Vanadium containing rebar being produced in the last 4-5 years.
3) Low steel prices around the world meaning that steel plants in china are using higher quality ores which contains less Vanadium and therefore yield less V as a by-product
4) Increasing demand coming from the global VRFB industry.

alternatively you could invest in many different companies, none of which you have researched so deeply and few of which are going to do as well as BMN is from here.

When I invested over 200,000 pounds in BMN in late 2016 it was clear to me that BMN had a very high quality asset which the rest of the world was going to need sooner or later. Well guess what that commodity is now valued almost 5 times higher than it was then and BMN controls one of only 3 mines outside of China making it. That is how it is no doubt earning over 1 million dollars of profit a week.

You are free to put the money into BMN or into a tracker and maybe earn in a year what BMN can earn in a week.

Sanchez - I think you have got the right idea. I would much rather it is PI's who have researched the share long and hard and are present on this board that can buy shares cheaply. For it is they that will hold on to them longest, because they understand the potential for the company so much better than those who know nothing except perhaps the 33.6p price target that was raised yesterday.

Once the news arrives and there are many more eyes on us if many easy shares were available they would end up cheaply in the hands of market traders and Mr 10%ers who will travel with us a short distance then get off and allow the cart to roll back down the hill. A little pain now is worth profit in the future.

nick26 - I have to agree. I have seen this too many times before which is why when I wrote about it earlier on I put the caveat about the trades being cancelled. I would like to know how we have ended up with rules that allow the market makers to manipulate the information about the market in such a way. If anyone else did this they would be in court.

I commented on the trading analysis of yesterday that the MMs would need to find at least 500K more shares. The sudden arrival of these large sells today, and the likelihood that they form part of the same 5M warrants block being presold means that the MMs were probably already short of shares going into monday.

Unless these are dummies sent to confuse us, which will be reversed later in the day, I make this as 1+1+0.5+0.75 = 3.25M of the 5M warranted shares already sold into the market. This will leave virtually nothing left for any shorters to try and target. Oh dear I hope that they have not already committed themselves.

One thing to bear in mind is that Largo report their production in Tonnes of V2O5 but BMN reports in tonnes of Vanadium. As V2O5 is only 56% by weight Vanadium you need to multiply their tonnes by 0.56 to get BMN 's Tonnes V.

Their Q2 production was 2458 Tonnes V2O5 , which is equivalent to 1376 Tonnes V. With Vametco expected to be producing 3750 TPA V that works out at 937.5 Tonnes V per Quarter, or 68% of Largo's Q2.

Personally I shall be sitting back today and waiting for our furry friends to try selling some shares that they do not own.

Investor81 if instead you take 152452 at 2.4p and 4847458 at 14.2p then you get exactly 13.84p.

From the 289,019 that were part of the YD (+others) warrant block this would leave 136,477 shares left at 2.4p - maybe someone should speak to AIMChaos to see if he has any of those left.

Pdub - actually when you take into account the compound nature of the rises it will work out at a lower number than 1.53%, despite this the same compounded rate will take the rise by friday to greater than 30.02p. So who is in line for the Corbine Cup. I have my own reasons for a 30p finish on friday.
